Looks right, in additon:
Players with -5.0 or worse are outlaws and can be attacked anywhere.
------------------------------------------------ You either need a punch up the throat or a good shag.
Nobody round here is offering the second one therefore your choices are limited! |

New here so I'm not trying to be a smart mouth about this. What's the difference with -5.0 once you leave 0.5 space?
Anyone you see is liable to try and blow your head off with or without provocation so from 0.5 on up, it makes sense to track such details but 0.4 on down... It seems to make no difference at all with respect to who you are or where you can go sec status wise. The only restrictions from there on down are based upon your ships ability to use the gates.

Edited by: Serge Bastana on 28/09/2009 05:09:47 Perfectly good point, what those listings should say is that anyone with X amount of negative sec status can't enter X sec level system without the faction navy trying to take them down.
The -5.0 security status means that if you're in high sec and you see one of these pilots then you are well within your rights to shoot them without Concord interference.
Usually if you pod someone, even in low sec, you will take a hit to your security status, depending on the sec level of the system you're in and the sec status of the victim.
If their sec status is <-5.0, you can attack and pod them anywhere, no security status hit will be incurred. ------------------------------------------------ You either need a punch up the throat or a good shag.

You are right, there are no further restrictions beyond -5, but if you continue to get further into the negatives, it's a longer grind to get back. i.e. if you're minus 10, you're going to have to kill a lot more 0.0 rats to get back to a sec status to get back to high-sec.
Hope I've read the question right - I think that's what you're asking. ______________________ Isn't it time you learned to fight back? Agony Unleashed Home of the PvP University.

In addition to what's already been said about hits on your security status the sentry guns won't aid outlaws if being aggressed. That means for example that at -5 and below you need to fear being catched by interceptors at lowsec gates and stations.
