A while ago somewhere in the forums there were talk about making it possible to climb out of hole if you have been law abiding citizen and killed enough pirates for them to really hate you. To make it possible to turn criminal and start working for pirate factions avan if they really loathe you.
So I looked around in SiSi today to see if it's coming and in what form. I looked at Sansha for start. It seems it is still not possible to get back in good enough terms for them to talk to you as they still only love blood raiders and guristas making it rather small closed loop. Am I missing something ? Is this still planned for Dominion and just not made it yet to SiSi or has it been ... delayed ... or even outright canceled ?

Have a hazy memory that the mechanic was going to come in when the pirate epic arc missions are introduced, so that everyone would have a chance to go and try those.

Considering pirate mission runners did not get such a mechanic (or even the mere thought of it) when empire L4 epic arcs were introduced, I find this mechanic pretty disgusting.
I also can not see such a mechanic come with a high enough drawback. Hard-setting empire faction standings at -8.9 or lower would seem appropriate for such betrayal. Since I don't see CCP committing to something like this, the mechanic should not be introduced.
I do however support introducing a minor fourth faction to the Sansha, Bloods, Guristas block so one can manually climb up to these again.

I'm quite confident it is planned as something that would take considerable effort, same as climbing out of hole for empire or worse. I think it was mentioned even in the original post that it would be hard work altho did not bookmark that back then. So in that sense there will be no magic bullets. Just wondering when it might make it.
Ofc it's relatively easy to circumenvent with alts, but it's not quite that.

The way I'd like to see this donw is special 'turncoat' mission arcs that let you do things like betray the caldari join the Guristas. Make then need high standings with the faction you're going to betray and after you complete it you end up at -5 to the caldari state and 0 to the guristas. Same could apply to the warring factions - use the trust that the Amarrian Empire has for you to strike a blow for the Minmatar.

my suggestions elsewhere for level 1 agents to spawn in space in low sec be scannable then 2-3 agents as well they would move around low sec. Smaller LP rewards would be exchanged in space or delivered secretly to nearest station in low sec
