In case you're not familiar with the phenomenon, you can fit a strategic cruiser (or other ship, actually) such that it's literally impossible to get a warpable (100% hit) on it, even with perfect skills, modules, and rigs. In theory, this is possible with any ship that has a small enough radius and high enough sensor strength.
For example, Roemy Schneider's fit here is apparently (I don't know the formula myself, so I can't personally confirm this) not probable.
Is this an intended mechanic?
If this is not intended, when is it going to be fixed? If it is intended, could we get some more official documentation on it so it doesn't seem unintended?
Personally, I think if you're willing to expend enough fitting slots or rig slots to make your ship unprobable, you've probably paid the price sufficiently to deserve it, but a more official stance would be nice.

I think you will find the actual process of making a ship unprobable will pretty much render it useless for its intended role or any role other than being a hole in space.

It¦s fine. Now bring on the unprobable tier 3 BBs as well. The amount of tears from the high sec gankbears would be worth any cost.

Btw, its far harder to hide a BS, than a CC. In each case, they are pretty much useless.

You didnt add a URL to your Link. Fail. So it just leads back to this thread. _____________________________________ Haruhiist since December 2008

Dunno if providing gang boost with invulnerability is really useless.
Being able to run missions while invulnerable to probes (and reasonably well that is) isnt that shabby either.
But hey, T3s can already warp cloaked and ignore bubbles, seems logical to give the option of being un-probable.

Where is it documented outside of non-CCP forum posts?
I think an evelopedia entry would be the minimal appropriate documentation. - Support DISBANDING the Alliance CCP Renamed at the Alliance's Request |

Why the hell do you need covops AND unprobable? Isnt one or the other enough? Blane Xero > Lance is at -0.9 sec status with a 1 million bounty. LAnce is also amarrian. Thats 3 evil points |

Iirc from that thread you need another ship with remote eccm next to the one being made into a hole in space for it to work. You should be able to figure out the rest.

The Loki and Tengu can be fit to be non-probed... and still run lvl 4's solo... I know this... cause I do this myself...

Neat.
I applaud this quit-yer-whining-and-do-something-about-it solution.
