Selecting the repair button to repair a drone as to repackage and stack (because that bothers me). Who has 50 items in their hangar?... Not me... Its a PITA to find that item/ship whatever your repairing. Also REALLY annoying.
Have a repair button in the ship fitting screen. Have a repair select choice next to repackage when you right click the item. Or have a search option for when you have to scroll through the 500+ modules/items.
Thanks for reading

Open the repair tab. Select all. Repair all. How hard is that?
...this doesn't even seem to be a regular case of rats fleeing the sinking ship. Seems more like the rats are on fire, the ship is on fire, and the sea is full of drunk Russians. - Jacob Etienne |

The allow me to simplify even further:
Open the repair tab. Ctrl+A. Repair all.
Doesn't get much easier than that.

Ctrl+A doesn't work when you have damaged ships that you don't want to spend a huge amount repairing.
The OP idea is fine. I can see no downsides.

Then you *gasp* ctrl+click the ones you don't want to repair.
edit: well, I do this with shift+clicking, not sure if this works with ctrl+a

FYI, when you open the repair tab and you get the list of all the selected things that can be repaired (i.e., if you've selected a ship, you get the ship and all the modules on it), you can sort the list by cost. This will make it easy to identify the things that are damaged at all (since all the undamaged things will be at the bottom) and if you have heavily damaged things they will of course be at the top where you can avoid them.
Faster than a search window would be I think.
Also I'm not sure if this is relevant, but you can assign "open repair window" to a hotkey just like you have for the fitting screen.

I really don't understand why people are being such ********s about this. The idea is a simple one that doesn't break anything else.
Just because it can be done another way doesn't mean that it's bad.

The only "********s" is you.
No one was being mean, or rude. They were trying to point out that there is already a feature that does this in game.
Just because there is more than 1 way you can imagine skinning a cat, doesn't mean your local cat skinner has to use your idea.
