I am slowly getting my so far 2 favorite ships in order (sorry if I'm abit off on item names hard keeping track of all this stuff) my vexor looks like this so far
rigs: Dron control range and a trimark armor pump, soon to add anti explosive pump more then likely
high: 2 salvagers a tractor beam and when I get the skills 2 drone interfacers(that let me use more drones)
medium: an analyzer a medium shiled extender and a ys8 hydrocarbon AfBurn
low:expanded cargohold 2, medium armor repair, 1600mm crystaline plates and after teh skill finishes tomorrow a damage control 2.
Drones: tons of light scouts of varying types.
My probe will be mainly equipped for explorations but do to skill restrictions the cloak based ones I see in evemons battleclincs are not doable any other good probe exploration setups?
Basically the plane is go exploring with my probe then me and my friend go take the explored sites on in my vexor and whatever frigate he flies(just know it's fast and close range)
while him and my drones pummel everything I go around and salvage.(or archaeology as the case may be)
Prolly going to regret this(always do when I do this in a warhammer mini forum) buut....
How does this sound and any advice?

drone interfaces? more drones? no go... sub capital ships cannot have more than 5 drones under control
ffs, just use EFT or similar tools
abnormal behavior of abnormal brain makes me normal |

well pitty.
Okay then what would you guys recommended in the final 2 high slots? for awhile I was using 2 artillery cannons(I'm minmatar) but they didn't seem to do much damage.

Double tanking does you nearly no good. As noted, Drone Control Units don't fit on anything but Carriers and, umm, whatever we're calling Motherships now and even then they're next to worthless.
In PvE you normally want to rep tank instead of buffer tank (though there isn't necessarily anything wrong with adding a buffer if you need one to get through the initial wave).
You're going to cap that thing out; I can guarantee it.
So let's try this. I know it's T2 fit but it works for me; consider it aspirational and downgrade where needed:

edit: If you want to stick with arties, it look like 720mm IIs fit fine as well so swap out for the railguns. But then you're missing out on a bonus that given the rest of the fit you might as well take advantage of if you can.

I was just looking for a vexor fit and happened across this post. I cant fit all of that t2 stuff but the above post helps me so I know what to look for. Now that I know what modules i need i can train my skills accordingly. |
