Bubble Drone - We already have that. They are called Logistics Drones (shield maintenance bot). If you just want more buffer, use a Shield Extender or Plates. There is no reason, gameplay, RP, or realistically, to have a drone project their shield over a ship.
Indys can have plenty of defense themselves. As I said, fit shield extenders or plates and hardeners/boosters. Are you using an armor tanker race like Amarr for your Indy and just filling out the lows with Expanded Cargoholds and that's why it's paper thin? If you want tank, fit better or shield tank.
Covert Drone - Doesn't make sense. If a drone (outside of your ship) is projecting a cloaking field around your ship, the drone is visible. This kind of goes against the whole idea of a cloak. This does change the gameplay a little bit, force the attackers to shoot the drone or get near the ship before they can lock and destroy the ship, but I don't see that the game needs that change. All it would do is make carebears (and yes, I am one, mostly) more safe, when they are already safe enough if they are smart.
Deflector Drones - Kind of interesting idea here. I would rather do one of two things: Either the drones do something with gravity and pull shots to them (so the drone is attacked when it was the ship that was targeted upon). That would sort of be like your bubble drone idea, but at a cost. Or rather have a module that a ship can have that deflects some (not all) of the damage back at the attacker. The module would probably only deflect laser damage, maybe explosion from missiles, whereas the drones that pull shots to them would pull hybrid and missiles at them.
And yes, the watching a targer rather than telling the drone to repair or attack a target is the same as we do now. The only thing it allows you to do is not to have a ship targeted any more, which actually is a bad thing for the game. If you want to be able to target more, train your skills and/or fit your ship for it.
Finally, I dislike the grammar police on the internet forums, too, but it is really painful to read your writing. Try using some punctuation. ' is for possesive, not plurality, know != no, know != now. They are = they're (not there). Possesive is their (as in, drones can now heal their owner).
And defiantly != definitely, but I won't gripe on that one because we knew what you meant.
