Well that got your attention! I have some things to say about EVE! First!
THIS GAME IS UNBELIEVABLE!
Two doods (The Brahs) in Iceland come up with an idea and a vision that surpasses ALL the big established gaming companies in many ways!
Among them are!
Dedication to the game and it's ongoing development.
Great customer support!
Dedication and loyality to your customer base!
Re-defining the vision as needs arise!
Community involement that actually means just that!
To many other big gaming companies are dedicated to one thing. PROFIT MARGINS!
Few are truly open to community involvement and rely more on the statistics of their statisticians in assuming they know what the customers want rather then listening to their online community of players as you most certainly do.
It is refreshing to see a company that embodies the above and has made and continues to provide an incredible online game which directly involes the community in so many ways!.
Thank you CCP for all the great hours and more to come in this game!
Regarding negative posts. Please understand that many of these people - new players- are coming here -as I once did- from other gaming communities which are eclipsed by CCP in the above mentioned customer support/involvement. Meaning simply that they are used to POOR treatment. Once they see how truly great CCP is you will keep them as good customers.
Keep up the great work!
Our mutual goal should be to make EVE like a spouse, "To death do us part! " and "May we grow old together!".

Lol Digital. I could see hell being a game that crashes on you every ten minutes and having only posts like this in it's forums.
I have to hand it to CCP though. I do love this game. It has more depth then any of the others out there at the moment, and more potential then any game I have ever played online. BUT there are still problems that need to be worked on.

90% agreed.
Recent events have turned me off on customer support quality tho. Seems I'm doomed to be losing my last active account tomorrow due to some problems CCP has .
Anyway, great work CCP.

I was able to speak to many of the development staff in Iceland at the Fanfest.
It was obvious how much they love the game and I think most where quite taken aback at the support the fans are giving them both in their attandance in Iceland but also with posts on all official and unoffical web sites. (They do read them)
I have not agreed with all that the devs have done and have vented some frustrations on the forums and also in Iceland. I now know that they listen to what we say and we now have unprecidented control of the way the game developes over the comming weeks/months/years. Sure they can't please everyone and sure some will hate the way the game developes and will move on.
But I trust CCP to deliver a quality game with enough to keep most players happy and most of all entertained.
So keep it UP CCP.

I will play this game until they turn the servers off, so long as it doesn't degenerate.
Given the actions of the last year, I can't see that happening.
Here's to 4 more years. (at least)

Hello Ethan!
Your post is funny for alot of reasons one of the more funny parts is this...
"Please understand that many of these people - new players- are coming here -as I once did- from other gaming communities which are eclipsed by CCP in the above mentioned customer support/involvement. Meaning simply that they are used to POOR treatment."
As for CCP's 'vision' and how important they thought it was well...
EVE is a large mmorpg with a large community. Ever wonder why this is? Its not as evident as it may seem since there is alot of mmorpgs that are much much smaller with small loyal core of fans and much less profit and funding for the game itself. Less candy, less bugs ect. EVE is big because the devs changed it to whatever the wailing masses wanted. The same wailing masses that think windows is a better OS than unix, the same wailing masses that elect mentally challenged retards for president. You know the types. The reason why it was changed was profit ofcourse ;)
Ofcourse there is shiva which is free. I have to say that charging for shiva would be a bad move since alot of people would just plain quit. Namely about half of the people who are solyl in this game caus ehtey are waiting for shiva...and this is alot of people. Not to mention there is traces of content that wont even make it with shiva (over a year post release) still in the game.
EVE is a good game no doubt, the only thing that is wrong with it is that it got changed to make more profit...
To be perfectly honest, there have been plenty praise posts, maybe not asmany as rantposts but generally praiseposts are less usefull and contructive as rantposts. I don't really think CCP care if you post a praise anyways. Prolly care abotu asmuch as they would if your credit card goes over its limit and you cant play EVE anymore...awww

It's the exact same things as what Zombie did, you may not attack in "safe-areas" (empire/within sentry range) without loosing your ship.

That confirms what i we probably ever knew it needs more than money to create great things.
Willpower level 4 Intelligence Level 5 Charisma Level 4
etc.

Don't ask "can i have your stuff" because i'll give it to everybody else than you! |

That's what I like to see :D. I'll also play until the servers die and the game is wiped from the face of the earth. Eve looks to be becoming the next everquest. Hopefully it will also have the same "Won't freaking die!" quality to it that EQ has shown. I honestly beleive that eve will be around for 20+ years because the game itself isn't what matters the msot in Eve - the most important aspect of eve is the player-player interaction and the politics surrounding the game. It's the players that make eve what it is and it's refreshing to see that CCP take the same slant in mind when developing the game software. Vive la Eve!
