Don't take missions in which you kill the other empire factions (such as enemies abound etc.) <-------------------------------------------------> "Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former." -Albert Einstein |

I've seem the same question asked and the answer is "yes" if you avoid the mishes that involve attacking the other faction. Mostly the navy ones...
That said, sometimes you don't know until you request the mission whether or not it involves so you may have to make liberal use of the cancel mission every 4 hours.
When you request a mish you can see who it involves as the target by the logo on the right hand side.
Either you will see something like a Gurista or Faction logo.
If it is a faction logo, chances are you are going to be blowing up their ships and they won't like that.
I'm sure someone less n00b could direct you to exactly who, what, or where to do these at.
Personally... As long as its not against Amarr or Caldari, I don't pay attention. The Gallente hate me anyways...

It's always possible to avoid the space of a particular empire faction or factions. The question is, do you want to restrict yourself?
I'm KOS to the Amarr empire, which is not generally a problem for me. On the other hand, if I were a high-sec mercenary, shutting myself off from 1/4 of the available space would adversely affect my ability to work.
It can come back to bite you in other ways, too. I was recently wormholing, and for two days every exit to K-space that we found led to the middle of Amarr high-sec. The moment I jumped, I was attacked by Amarr navy ships. I was in no danger of dying, but getting anywhere would have been a real pain. In the end, we found an exit to Gallente low-sec, but not without much scanning and swearing.

It's just that diplomacy only get me sofare, i'm -2.75 with gallente and 1.xx with Mimatar(diplomacy lvl 3, so can still get in good favor with mimatar).
But it's only a prob ontill i get in 0.0, then i don't care about standings

You will if the nearest high sec area to your 0.0 home is Gallente space. You'll end up caring a great deal about that.

You'll have to wait the 4 hours in between many declines if you want to do missions that only involve pirate factions. More than half involve killing faction ships.
After years of running every mission i was given by agents, my main has -9.80 with the Amarr. Diplomacy 4 takes it to -6.63, which is just as worthless. The only faction that hates him more are the Angel cartel with -9.90. Caldari are at -6.03, with diplo 4 it's -3.47.
So yeah, i hope you're very patient.

Well if NPC's don't pod kill me then i really don't care that much, if i fit my ship good i might survive long enough to get to the 0.0 space, right??

You never get missions to fly against Sisters Of Eve, Khanid Kingdom or Ammatar Mandate - so while you may have awful standings from killing a major empire faction you can usually get back in their good graces by running missions for one of those 3 factions.
It may take a *very* long time however.
