im curious if anyone else has had this happen. just a few moments ago i was stalking an uncloaked falcon at a planet, when suddenly i just decloak. absolutely nothing is on grid, i even checked for corpses. i just decloaked.
a few days ago, i had the same thing happen again when i was watching a gatecamp at range.
im curious if this is a known bug or some random thing that just happens for me, but either way, i may stop flying cov ops for a while.

I've had random decloaks in WH space, mostly at sleeper sites. I thought they we're targeting me through the cloak, because they insta-lock. Its a huge recipe for a lost ship.

Space in EVE is amazingly dirty in some places (for instance, with all those slaves, they still can't manage get anyone out there to dust off the main station in Amarr).

no, absolutely clear grid. nothing at all, even with the d-scanner with filters off.

I've had this happen while chatting with corpies while cloaked in the middle of a system at a safe spot, 2-3 AU's from anything. This tends to happen more if I am typing out numbers so I suspect I am either barely touching the f key tied to the cloak and not knowing it, or my keyboard and eve are not talking cleanly to one another (wireless keyboard) This happens more often when the batteries are going low on my keyboard. ------------------------------------------------

I can say I've had this happen to me. It's a real pain in the arse.
Happens sometimes while in warp, sometimes not. --------------------------------------------

Jah, its happened to me. 200+km off a POS, and cloak just drops. Bit silly, really...personally, I think its CCPs secret nerf to afk-camping systems while cloaked...every time it happened, it was when I wasn't actively doing EVE-things. Not a lot to do, while you're watching a POS...anyhow yup. It isn't nice. Should be fixed.

Happens to me often as well. Hasn't caused any awkward situations yet, but it's bound to eventually.

I've had it happen to me a few times. Mostly there's no problem, as I can just hit the button again, but once it got me killed, and the second time it caused me to lose a war target, due to the cloak dropping while I was still out of tackle range.
While sometimes it's possible I'm getting close to an asteroid or something, most of the time I'm adamant that there's nothing anywhere near me.

I get doubleclicks with my wireless logitech mouse lately, though I only do single-clicks.. This causes: - short activation then deactivation of modules - moving view around in space and ship starts at random to fly into one of the directions - deactivation of autopilot when approaching a stargate - all kinds of single-click intended > double-click recognized stuff
I did change the batteries already.. Might be some contact problem of the microtasters in the mouse. Or the wireless thingy causes it..
Anyone else in here uses wireless?

Never had that declocking problem.
As for the mice, the double click thing does the same with Razer mice. The plastic clicky bit* gets loose after a while and ends up double tapping.
* Whatever it's called, I took my old Habu apart when it kept doing it. A quick google will show that they all fail. (Probably deliberately so we buy new mice...)

No, guys. It's not from accidentally double clicking, or typing. This is a genuine game error.
