Hello,
got a bit of an issue with a CEO having run his game time out and not re-subscribing. Basically, is there any way to remove his CEO roles and give it over to one of the directors without him being online. He has 100% vote rights etc because we are a small corp of RL friends, so politics didnt really matter. Him voting things straight through was easier, but now seeing it was a bit stupid. If there is no way to do it in game, could he log in through the eve online website and contact a GM to remove his role? Any help much appreciated.

this is what directors are for
if he has not forseen this implication then he is a bad CEO
as this is how corps run dry YET he is still collecting your tax :P

Hmm, no clue really. In an alt corp I was a director in a while ago we had a similar situation but we were structured in a way that it didn't really matter.
I guess you could always file a petition and get the official word. Or worse come to worse you could always just move everyone into a new corp and set it up so that it isn't an issue in the future.

Theres no tax, as stated we are RL friends, so we dont need to tax members, we all chip in fairly. Nobodys being screwed, its just bad foresight. So is it possible for directors to declare war, and if so, what settings need changing to allow it?

I've seen this happen on two occasions to some friends of mine. Petitionning solved both with a little patience. |

Shares determine vote rights, give everyone some shares to be able to vote a (inactive) CEO out.

Gee, ya think?
I guess I'll pencil that into my list of qualifications for a good CEO: Must actually play Eve.
Thanks for the tip C!
