So far I have found tons if really useful information regarding the selling prices and trends of various in game commodities, provided by some really unselfish folks, and I am very grateful and ISK donations are in process for those from whom I have benefitted.
What I have not been able to find, however, is anything regarding cost-advantage analysis and trends in the LP realm, such as, what are the hot LP store items at the moment, so as to maximize LP/ISK ratios.
There are a lot of generalities being banted about, but nothing comprhensive or authoritative as exists in the minerals and modules markets, for example.
Perhaps I am simply overlooking something somewhere?
Any help pointing me in the right diratcion would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Very unselfish, indeed. People tend not to reveal what makes money for them in the LP stores. The more people that know what's hot, the more the market is likely to get saturated. This brings LP/ISK ratios down and soon you need to find another hot item.
You could try asking in the Market Discussions forum, but they're unlikely to be helpful.

Why, someone making such information public could make many people angry!
For example, if I were to tell you that +4 implants were a hot item, they may get quite cross at me. And that would be terrible.

Gallente Navy Webs - Best balance of range and speed loss for the faction webs... was around 40m a while back but climbing to about 50m at the moment... possibly going beyond that.
Amarr Navy Energised Adaptive Nano Membranes - were about 20m a while back... climbing to 35m ish now? Haven't bought any in a while as I have a nice stockpile of them and rarely use them in pvp.
The easiest way to know what sells well is to spend a few hours going through contracts for each item to get an idea of average prices and demand.
Also, if you ever run amarr, true sansha, dark blood or erm... ammatar missions, I'd be interested in about a dozen faction small neuts thank you. ----

Your goal should be making 3000+ Isk per LP. Most folks settle for 1000/LP or less.
You need to research your markets for each item and assess the entire cost of the item (Isk, tags, base item, etc) to determine the real value of your LP for that particular item.
Faction ships can be bought off of contract, find what they're selling for, and then calculate the entire cost of purchasing the ship from the LP store. From there you find the value of your LP for that particular ship.
Most folks would buy faction ships off of contracts, and use their LP's on another much more lucrative item to maximize the value of their LP's. Faction ships (ie Raven Navy Issue) were very cheap at one point, in the 330m range as macroers wanted a quick turnaround for their LP's. CNRs are going for 650m or more now, as the macroers got spanked by CCP and a lot of accounts got banned. Bottom line is that the value of LPs for CNRs have obviously gone way up.
A lot of players have had to work hard to gain the knowledge and insights about Eve that enable them to make serious Isk. They also feel new players need to muddle around and figure out the game at their own pace in order to create a foundation for the future.
