As of 12:45 EVE time CVA is back on the maps, with Sov back in Providence. All Sov was restored after downtime, but servers were NOT rolled back.
Looks like the stories of the alleged hacks are true after all, even though there is no concrete information as of now.
Congratulations CVA, looks like i can put that stealth bomber away for now.

Excellent news?. Now sort that Alliance Management "Disband Button" issue.
For starters surely there should be a check boxes for ceo/directors to either have the status quo to disband at a touch of click or have those with Directorship rights to vote before such a thing can be invoked plus cool period?.
Prior to joining? if it is a Dictatorship then it is up to the Directors to negogiate votes (Disband) or except the consequences imho to much hard work for a magic disband button or just remove it period.

/signed CCP for post Dominion seriously consider this. Disband really should not be a quick option unless all other directors have left (ie alliance is folding).
Actually, why is it even there? Why don't you only disband if all corps leave? Problem solved.
The support of all of CVA's reds shows how much eve players consider this an illegitimate form of warfare.

No. People have misinterpeted Wrangler's post. The fact that the account 'appears' to have been hacked by an ISK seller does not mean the account holder was buying ISK. You don't have to be an ISK buyer to be hacked!
The chap who owns the account has been a member of CVA for over three years and we have a pretty good idea of how he earns his ISK and it involves lots of hard work...

ISK Sellers are the same lowlife s****who hack many different types of MMO accounts to drain them of any and all monetary value they may have. Be it isk, gold, assets and items, etc etc. They then use the hacked accounts for as long as they can to do illegal things such as automated bot farming of items (or in Eves case, macro mine and all sorts of crap) and the like.
My friend was recently hacked, then REhacked again after everything was replaced. Isk sellers also hack the credit cards of the people who purchased items from them months after the purchases are done also. It's sick.
Just buy game time codes and sell them that way, yeesh.

So his account was hacked by isk sellers without him buying isk? Was his password 12345? So why would an isk seller that is interested in rl profit target his account if he wasn't buying isk? Just to shut down an alliance without making any profit? Doesn't sound like what isk sellers are into... doing something without making a profit. Or are you saying that an isk seller got his account info and for a profit made a deal with someone that didnt like CVA made a deal to shut the alliance down.
Was any isk stolen from his account when they had control of it before they shut down the alliance? If not it seems odd that they would comprise his account without taking anything.

All and all..for as much crap as I like to talk. I'm glad CVA got their space back. Disbanding alliance like that really sux! And besides there's nobody more suited to run providence then CVA. I would have been sad to see them go out like that. I'm happy CCP acted like they did.
I think CCP should make to where if you want to disband a alliance every corp should have a vote before you can disband it. CVA are good people, and they worked hard for what they have, and put in alot of game hours into building their empire. It would have sucked to see all that effort and time be destroyed by a click of a button.
Keep it true CVA and change your passwords.

You guys are idiots. Trojan horses in the form of key loggers are one of the most common things people have on there computers. Statistically speaking 59% of you have a virus. That virus could easily be logging your passwords to eve as you type them in. Hacking accounts isn't guessing the owners password, it is generally targeting them with a Trojan horse (this is easier than you think), logging there passwords and than using that to login to the account and inflict damage. The reason people get re-hacked is because they fail to clean there pc's and the hacker logs the passwords again.
