You know, arguing on the internet (especially a game forum), is like participating in the special olympics.
I'm having fun watching all the downs kids in here atm...

I am sorry you see it like this. In his first rant did he write about hens and foxes and what not, and now did I give him an explanation and ask him if he agrees, but instead of giving an answer did he just give another rant.

Sigh you will never get it.. your just to thick.
Oh and I'm still here btw.. i guess spitting on CCP doesn't help with them taking you seriously, especially when your trying to be a troll reporting a troll.
I know many of my brothers and sisters in C&P find that equally amusing.
I'm really looking forward to the next hulkageddon and the tears to follow, toss me an eve mail and let me know when its coming.. i want to be there to see ppl fry.
Mmm tastes like chicken...

well, I'm new in the game and like many others I'll start a career as a miner/industrialist. Sure I'll be mining in high-sec in a hulk as soon as I get the skills to fly one. (thus my aim is join a 0.0 corp as soon as I can)
my point is that everything is all about the maths. If I mine in high-sec and I lose 1 hulk every 3-4 weeks, well... is affordable. but if this hulkaggedon, or whatever jihad against miners becomes so popular that I end loosing 1-2 hulks a week then I'll just quit mining for a while (with actual high-sec ore prices)
Is all about risk/profit.
More pirates=more risk=less miners=more profit.
No risk at all=everyone and their cousins mines=ore prices drops= **** profit.
Yeah, I'm a miner saying that pirates are needed. But, you pirates have to reckon that someone have to mine the minerals needed to make your ships.. I just don't get why some of you have this personal and deep visceral hate with them.

I'm so torn...
On the one hand, the organization is cool. It's neat to see something shake up empire, make it interesting. Hell, if I had paid some attention, I might have joined in... in some fashion.
On the other hand... well... it was said (rightly) in relation to the carebears crying about their losses: Eve SHOULD be about risk. The problem is, due to insurance, there isn't that much risk for the pirates. That's my one problem here. You guys had a safety net, while the miners didn't (ok, the people in mining barges did, but not the exhumers). The fact that you had that takes away from the event. Anyway. known issue, been complained about for ages, probably will continue to be complained about for ages more.
That said... why the hell would anyone in high-sec faction fit their exhumers? It's not like the things can't deal with high-sec belt rats with basic T1 gear. I can see basic C-type fitting of retrievers or covetors, as the gear isn't that expensive but does give you a significant edge, but beyond that...
Well, hopefully some of those carebears had teeth, and will continue to make Eve interesting for you guys in the next thirty days as they try to claim killrights.

Never once since kill rights came out have I ever heard of them actually being claimed. Especially when the kill rights are against people who are -10 and shootable wherever you like anyways
In fact, for that matter, I've only ever seen ONE carebear seek retribution, a less-than-intelligent Legion pilot we smashed. He brought his corpmates the next day, I brought mine, dumb carebears vs pirates... yeah, go figure how that went for them
That said, I do wish they would try their luck more often. Ganking random nubs is boring, it's the fights we want (and no, 0.0 isn't "real fights". I'm not shooting dyspro towers at 3AM on a monday night just so some fat Russian bastard can pad his wallets.)

It means I hate 0.0, 0.0 alliances, russians, POS shooting, alarm clock ops, and russians.
Especially Russians.

No. I play EVE for eight months now and fly through all of high-sec. I only occasionally wander into low-sec so far. My skills are still too weak. I am no Russian nor am I in a Russian alliance.
I am wondering if there is any organized piracy in 0.0 and low-sec. It seems to me as if piracy focuses a lot on high-sec when my instinct tells me that it should really be aiming at 0.0 and the alliances. From what I have heard can life in 0.0 be saver than in high-sec ... Obviously is piracy in high-sec a lot easier as the victims are weak and the mechanics provide a calculable challenge, whereas the Russians are not a calculable challenge?! It is like beating on a bush on one end and stuff runs out the other end. Perhaps there is something that can be done to make piracy more practicable in 0.0. It is no good when lots of skilled players turn to high-sec for the lulz. --

With all due respect, you seem quit to throw opinions around as fact when you admit yourself that you have very little experience.
I am about 8 month old and happily tool around in low sec and 0.0
The only way to understand how things operate in low sec is to get out there.
Seriously this opinion that high sec 'piracy' is high skilled players attacking newbs is very short sighted. Also, occupancy has nothing to do with a players skill points, nor does readiness to engage in pvp.
People with attitudes like yours are always waiting for 'a few more skills' before taking the plunge. I suggest you get out there in some cheap ships and see for yourself... of course you will probably get blobbed once and assume that is the way it always is and go back to mining in high sec.
Seriously though, not trying to smack much, just a bit frustrated that someone with so little experience and understanding of the game will put so much effort into disrupting discussions.

Did you then participate in the event or are you a target of it? No. --

Or, you can shut up now and get out of my thread, this thread is a thank you to the people that made my event a fun success, this thread is NOT for you to continue to push your shortsighted inexperienced "opinion" on people that CLEARLY are not open to your point of view.
Please make your own thread of you want to have this endless discussion of yours.
thanks.

Any room for the likes of me in future shenanigans? There's a couple of targets in particular I have been meaning to pay a brief visit to
Props to anyone involved. I don't think people quite realise the organisation required to pull this off efficiently. Here is a nice related video.
