Hi there,
I've heard that some of the skill requirements for certain specialist skills are to be relaxed in the Dominion expansion - could anyone point me in the direction of the info please?

All these changes are on the test server and therefore will probably, but not necessarily, make it into Dominion:
* Hacking will now have the following prerequisites: Science level 3 (from level 5), Electronics Upgrades level 2( from level 5), Electronics level 1 (from level 2) and Engineering level 1 ( from level 2) * Archaeology will now have the following prerequisites Science lev 3( from level 5), Survey level 3 (from level 5) and Electronics level 1 * Salvaging will now have the following prerequisites Mechanic level 3, Survey at level 3 and Engineering level 1 * Cloaking has the following prerequisites Electronics lev 4 ( was 5) * High Speed Maneuvering will now have Navigation at level 3 and Afterburner at level 3 as its prerequisites (instead of all at level 4) * Tactical Shield Manipulation has Engineering at level 3 as its prerequisites(instead of level 4) * Trajectory Analysis has Gunnery at level 4 as a prerequisite (instead of 5) * Bomb Deployment has Missile Bombardment at level 4 as a prerequisite (instead of level 5) * Mining Upgrades now has Mining at level 3 as a prerequisite (instead of 4) * Thermodynamics has Engineering at level 5, Energy Management at level 3(instead of 5) and Science at level 4 * You can no longer inject skills if they cannot be added to the end of the training queue immediately.

the last one is a bit of a nerf on injecting. I typically will buy some skills long before the 24 hours prior to starting them and just like to inject them so i dont have to carry em.. now I guess I'll have the clear my queue.
Not a big issue, but also not one that their seems to be any reason to change...

Couldn't you still just stop training whatever you are training and train the skill you want to inject for a second to get it to the list, and then switch back? -------------------------------------------------

Damn. I thought you still need the two skills at lvl 4 for Archaeology and hacking after Dominion. Now I really wonder if I should go into exploration at all.

CCP is spending programming resources to change it so that people can still inject skills, but now they will have to take another 10 seconds??? WTF? It is one thing when there are people who resist fixing the training queue. But why spend resources for this. Puzzling.

Why?
This is one of the only justified skill changes IMO. Bombs are pretty powerful, but they're anti-blob weapons that excel when used in groups...limiting them to a comparatively small amount of people is a bit wrong in my opinion. More bombs is an indirect nerf to the generic RRBS blob.
