I open the EvE client, the internet is working and EvEmon says that the server is online with X number of pilots. Yet The EvE client says that server status is unkown therefore I can't log on.
This is clearly extremely frustating and my hand hurts from hitting things so...any advice?
cheers

Have you considered your internet provider might be blocking your access during peak times? Usually 4pm to 11pm monday through friday and 6-11pm sat and sunday. I had that problem with Tiscali at home and it had the same symptoms as you describe. They wouldnt acknoledge that they were doing this but a quick ping plotter revealed all i had suspected. A change over to Sky solved this. Just an idea.

I used to be able to connect at any time, any day. I haven't been able to connect all morning :(

Edited by: mcnuggetlol on 07/11/2009 14:35:14 After having a browse around I managed to find this ( http://support.eve-online.com/Pages/KB/Article.aspx?id=405 ) which solved my problem. It's most likely due to your ISP blocking the port used to connect to tranq, the link explains how to change the port.
