I'm one of those players that don't sell their salvage right away. So I have been stockpiling them in my hanger and trying to decided which rigs to make to sell for profit. Currently I'm making Large CCC and Medium Core Def Purgers. The Large CCC is pretty popular since almost 95% of Battleship uses them. Medium Core Def Purgers are for all those drake lovers, but doesn't sell as fast obviously (oh btw I'm in high-sec with a lot of other mission runners).
The only problem is I still have tons of armor plates and alloyed bars that I don't know which rigs to use it for. What are some other popular rigs? Or any rigs that uses something other than melted cap (for CCC) and ward console (for purgers)? Thanks.

Medium Cargohold Optimization I rigs Medium Salvage Tackle I rigs Medium Core Defense Field Extender I rigs (for all shield-tanked PVP ships) Medium Capacitor Control Circuit I rigs (Amarr cruisers/battlecruisers especially) all sized Armor Trimark Pump I rigs all sized Auxiliary Nano Pump I rigs
That's all I can think of that I would expect to be decent sellers. You'll get more recurring business if you're supplying PVP ships, because they get blown up (and thus replaced) more often. ______________________________________________________ Isn't it enough to know that I ruined a pony making a gift for you? |

To be honest CCC's both medium and small are your bread and butter.
Small Core Def Extenders for all those PVP thrashers.

Ya I thought about medium cargohold and salvage rigs but looking at the price history (trade frequency) told me it's probably not a good idea to mass produce them. I mean how often do people lose their haulers and salvage boats in high sec :P.
It's true that medium purgers aren't huge isk makers, but there is still a profit in them, so I'll make some instead of selling the rigs directly.
I made 2 large aux nano about a month ago and I still can't sell my last one lol (and I have been competing for the lowest sell order too).
I'll take a look at those PvP rigs you guys mentioned. Thanks.

Large Gravity Capacitor Upgrades are by far the most popular, I have a couple of researched BPOs of them to sell if you're interested

Quote: trying to decided which rigs to make to sell for profit.
You don't need to know what is popular, you need to know what will generate the highest profit but still sell within a few days. You can see the daily traded volume by going to the Price History tab on the market (set Time to 10 days and click Show Table).
The name of the item is irrevelent, only the numbers are important

It really does depend on your market region and whether or not you're willing or indeed able to compete with those already there.
Local knowledge is worth investing the research time in to, sadly it as you have just proven can change in an instant.
