This is not a corporation for those who want to talk on VoIP during fleets and as the social aspect of the corporation.
This is specifically for those who do not or cannot.
We do not have a current goal right now, I am first seeing if anyone is interested in this somewhat-unique corporation and then after we get some pilots, I will look over their professions and then decide on a direction depending on the size, interest, and the professions of the majority pilots. Most likely this direction will be a combat-related one as I am a combat pilot myself.
We welcome all professions - ISK makers, combat pilots, and industrialists. For the combat pilots, it does not matter if you are a PvP or a PvE pilot - there will be other pilots in this corporation who share your interests in your combat direction OR swing both ways (no pun intended). To the industrialists, we greatly welcome you whether or not you mine or manufacture [or both]. After all, the combat pilots will need ships.
I'm not going to BS you guys. This is a brand-new corporation and therefore can be labeled as 'new' ... or 'poor' to say the least. It will take some time to get the wheels rolling, all we can do right now is pretty much socialize and perhaps discuss the direction of the corporation.
For those who care, my background:
I am a deaf player myself. I do have a cochlear implant IRL but I cannot understand vent/TS very well, and I've had several bad experiences in corporations for the last few years where all of them would say this statement, that once sounded good.
"Yes, we definitely can accommodate you and your deafness."
They don't. All of them haven't or did not give the effort that was required. Anyways, I am not here to complain. Yes, I am a deaf player and generally a combat pilot. I will be participating in mission running as well as general PvP (but either only 0.0 or lowsec as long as I won't turn outlaw). I 'do' plan for some manufacturing skills later on after I get plenty of combat-related skills to manufacture my own ships for use in PvP.
The offices of the corporation will be found in the description tab, but I will list them here anyways:

An interesting idea.
I will try to get on your in game channel in the next few days for a little chit chat.
There must be plenty besides me in EVE that are sick and tired of listening to the complete random garbage that is spewed when on voip. More distraction than help most of the time.

Unfortunately, all day today I have been busy with finals (my university runs on the quarter system) and this is the finals week - and tomorrow I'm driving 10+ hours back home for Thanksgiving break, so I won't be on very much. If I am not on, feel free to evemail me!

I'd be interested in how you deal with real-time non-verbal commands in a pvp situation as (to be honest) sometimes even those with no handicap have issues understanding/issuing clear commands.

While not deaf myself I can relate to and sympathise with your experiences.
Respect for doing what you are trying to do.
Voicecomms has it's obvious advantages in pvp but I see no reason why decent pvp squads could not be run through good drilling and perhaps some form of shorthand text commands (which has kind of got me thinking on that front).
May visit your channel for a chat sometime when I get a moment.

I'm happy so cuz i'm not alone deaf in EVE game!
I was plan start new corp or even alliance for deaf only.
But do you start already now, so i want first talk to you before join.
P.s. i'm pure PvP but just also problem for my cuz not always good relay from FC or so..
I might we could get better relay only other voice from suck FC or other bad relay.
Let make contact me ingame "Toko Baru" dont worry about my alliance or corp. They will do understand about my problem deaf comms.

Btw Jovoich is my CEO and we knowlegde already 2 years.
He want help my out and maybe will he support to us. cuz he is very nice guy for me, he did alot helped to me when i was problem about other thing, as you say `F u c k` relay or get less info about relay from FC

In another game my Guild had a player that was deaf but no one knew for a long time. People would just gripe about problems or issues with him. After a raid where we had some issues I had a chat convo with him and found out he was deaf. I let the other officers know and the more active raid leaders, no problems after that. It actually made us better raiders as we had to work out strategies and roles more fully.
