Does anyone know of a spreadsheet that has been made that is up to date that has the list of all ships in EVE and the cost of all Premium insurance on all ships in EVE?
If not I'll make one myself but I'd like to find out if someone else has done so already.
Thanks, Trent

Insurance should be changed so there will be no payout if you get concorded

ya...darn those filthy pirates....why should they get anything for playing the game! all they do is wreck it for every one else!
the also shouldnt get insurance if they fire first, and, if the warp scramble some one, their cap should go to zero, and if the kill some one, they should be penalized isk, in the amount of the ship they kill!
on the other hand...maybe my little pony miners...should open their eyes, and also play the game. its not the pirates fault he is actually at his computer, and you are not. if you see a gang of blinky red pirate types coming at you, warp away. now that was hard! The protei.
PVP...dont think just do it! |

Edited by: Skippermonkey on 23/11/2009 12:00:19 It should make sense that insurance is invalidated due to criminal activities.
Or maybe make it so that 'Pirate factions' will insure when a player gets concorded as they do not recognise concord as law, kind of.
Anyway, no sane insurance company would knowingly insure anyone with a history of purposely destroying their ships.
Definitely needs some sort of rework.
Edit - maybe link the scale of payout to link with sec status..just an idea

Hey, it's not his fault that Eve has a mentally challanged bunch of insurance agency's that do not check up on the course of events that led to the clients loss of a ship.

Pirates should get their insurance just like anyone else. However security status should adjust the price of the insurance just like points on your license increases your car insurance.

Use any database explorer, check out base price of the ship. That price is the insurance payout. Divide by 3 for the cost of insuring the ship, and the difference is how much the ship can cost before you're better off just self destructing them then selling. Parrots, commence!
