It really depends on the factions you are up against. I've only done the serp guristas version and never had problems even when I was new (1.5m sp). There is another version where the 3rd pocket can get very crazy dps and has multiple scrammers. I've heard of a number of people lose ravens in that pocket.

this is my opinion: try to enjoy a corp 0.0 i hope a corp can accept u [mission sucks boring u run like a robot] u should be able for ratting in a drake t2 hardeners t2 missile is not a log train for that ] after that different perspective more fun and more isk just try[ me personal i cant rezist pshihic for run a mission anyway last was 1 year or so ...]think about it

I've debated doing this but come on, what 0.0 corp would take my low sp character in?

Though I haven't looked into it personally, my understanding is that it's not uncommon for 0.0 corps and alliances to have newbie starter corps as part of the alliance. This allows them to recruit from the newer players and keep fresh blood flowing into their higher tier corps and fleets, offsetting burnout attrition amongst their more veteran pilots.
And everybody always needs more tackle and Blackbird pilots.

If I did 0.0, I'd prefer to act as a scout, frankly
