Hi, I know sounds weird but bear with me a second.
I had sentry aggro, I warped to the station with 30% hull on my frigate to re-dock and repair.
The ship was about 1000m from station when I came outta warp. Please note I didn't wait to come outta warp and then clicked dock. I had warped into the station using the "Dock" select off the right-click menu. The message to dock appeared, however next thing I know I find myself podded and at my cloning station.
Didn't even see a message saying : "Sentry gun shooting you for XXX damage"
I know sometimes sentry guns get a lock on you and get a shot off if the dock takes a bit longer, however how come I was podded?!
Also no loss mail for the capsule was provided just for the ship. This is obviously a bug and one that might annoy players with implants in. Luckily I didn't have any in this clone.
P.S. No other ships were around. |

About time those lazy sentry guns did something usefull. 
Just to get question #1 out of the way...are you sure you weren't docking at the clone station and just thought you were podded?

sometimes, the damage that is done to your ship is so much that it transferes to your frig, sort of like instapopping soemthing.
evidentally your frig fell into this catagory.

Yes 100% certain it was not at my cloning station. I looted my wreck as soon as aggro was gone and it was outside my regular station.
Fair enough damage transferring to pod - I ain't never heard of it though. Imagine it happened with a High Grade set of implants. Just a little bit ****ed off eh?!

Taking damage just as you are about to dock can sometimes get you podded. Petition it for reimbursement. It's a bug they know about.

It does sound very much like a bug, petition it and good luck.
These things can happen. I once frantically spammed "eject" to get my pod out of an ambush in 0.0 space - I don't quite understand what occured, but as my ship blew up and my pod sailed clear of the wreckage my corpse ejected out into space as though I had been pod killed - even though I was quite safe and by then warping my pod away to safety.

Goonie speaketh truth, it's been known for sentries to pod once in a while and when that happens you never get a killmaill for it. So if you had implants petition, if they decline escalate. As said, it's a known issue.

This happened to me too, exactly 1' before the patch Q.Q I lost around 40 hours of +5 primary and secondary skilling (couldn't log on after patch for RL). Do they reimburse skills lost as well?
Do you need to tell them what were your implants or they know?
