Hi,
Ive been'in a wormhole for a week now doing plexes and mining, but there is only 1 wormhole open every given time and always connect to 0.0 space.
Does this mean the wormhole im in only has '1' active wormhole at a time, and that it's a static one to zerosec even though the entrance i found was located in losec and could be considered a random lucky shot if you can call it lucky as in 0.0 it's hard to find fuel for posses etc.
Also did i understand it properly in all these scattered guides that when i find a wormhole to a classX, that when the wormhole collapses in the hi/lo sec area, it respawns somewhere in the same region of where i found it? aka when found in the Forge, it opens up somewhere else in the forge after the collapse?
If that's the case, i could probably muster some troops to scan for the wormhole entrance in the area i found it in the firstplace as i think the current one only has inbound connections from hi/lo sec and only one outbound static to 0.0

Yeah, you got a wormhole that got a static to 0 sec. So every time it close, a new one to a random location in 0 sec will re-spawn. You will still have a chance of some random wh spawn to other places though.

Thanks for the information.
Are all the wormhole people out of business? joined the Aperture Harmonics channel, no one there and didnt recieved the message that the channel didnt existed yet. Also alot of views but only 1 reply ;)
Well up to now we only had connections to deep 0.0 all over the map which isn't bad except for some logistics that takes some extra planning. but still wondering if we should be able to find an inbound connection to our wormhole in the same region we found our entrance in the first place? |

Rule of thumb is all wh systems have a static wh type. The Wh type states what type of system it will always connect to. In your case your system seems to have a native wh to null sec.
On rare occasions you get an extra native wh leading somewhere else.
All other exits are created outside your system and will show up in your system as a k162 wormhole type and possibly hazardous in terms of pvp.
I'd move to a different system as soon as the oppertunity arises.

I'm not sure, i believe i read here on the forums somewhere that wormholes do open in the region where you find them (i recall a thread i had about the littering POS'es in w-space, where a lot of replies said that getting a POS killing gang inside a wormhole was rather easy by just scouting the new opening somewhere in the region) I myself however have not found a wormhole in the usual regions i scan that connected to the same system in wormhole space yet, but maybe I've been unlucky or it spawned in systems i had already scanned 2 times these days.
So no, i cannot confirm that when you find an Wormhole M555 to jMywormhole, you will be able to find it back in the normal space region it had spawned before, but if they behave a bit like complexes one would asume it will yes.

People already stated that he had a static wh leading to null sec, indeed. However, as it has already been said you will sometimes get lucky and get a wh leading to other areas. I myself lived in a class 3 with a static low-sec wh and a static c6 wh. However, once in a while I would find a wh leading to either high-sec or null-sec. That's how I left the WH.
As for your second question, NO. A wh will not spawn in the same region it collapsed. It will randomly choose a system to lead to. |
