Ok.... second question.
In the final section, the Invention output.
How is the build cost (per production run) calculated in a default EveHQ installation? Just from the base price of the components?

Originally by: EternalFaust Ok, I finally reached breaking point and decided I needed to step back and let someone else take a go at getting this thing right. I have released the source. It is openly accessible from the subversion repository listed, but commit access is restricted.
Sorry guys but I just don't have the time, nor the patience, to work on this at the moment.
Hopefully someone will do something with it.
So, anyone maintaining this awesome plug in?
Could EternalFaust maybe contact the EvEHQ programmer(s) and have it maintained by them? For sure it would not look bad as mainstream add on to put in the official distribution. - Auditing & consulting

Another thing I noticed: even w/o exceptions, when changing recipe, the T2 material (ie nuclear triggers) won't update for me unless I don't check and uncheck the "Manufacture the components" checkbox every time. - Auditing & consulting

Edited by: The Ferrymeister on 17/04/2010 03:28:04 I was wondering how you can save the ME values for individual blueprints that you own? Whenever I look at t2 manufacturing using BPOs for some of the parts. If I close the program all the ME and PE values are reset to the default value specified in 'settings'. Otherwise the program works great and looking forward to the next release.

Thank you for this plugin, helped me get my head around some things...
Apart from fixing the crashes and quirks, I have the following functional improvement suggestions (haven't read the whole thread so might be redundant): - When selecting a BPO, set max runs + the decryptor which results in the highest profit/day per default - Each time a different BPO is selected, the profitability table is redrawn, which is slightly annoying. This could be fixed. - Could you make the items on the profitability list automatically chose the highest profit run/decryptor combination (and list them in colums)? Icing on the cake would be to have the ranking be based on the profit per day, weighted (adjustable) by the market volume of the item, altho I dunno if you can do that with the data from eve-central...
Please don't stop working on this great plugin!

Edited by: black sile on 05/05/2010 16:57:48 Hey, first of all thanks for the great tool!
There is only one issue i have which is that the resource calculations do not include the installation material modifier. Also, there is an "avg profit per invention job", this average does not include the costs of the invention so just the (sell price - material price), could you make this (sell price - (material price + invention cost)) ?
If you could fix this it would be awesome!

I'm being a nublet and I've searched for this. :)
I can't tell if the shopping list is part of EVEHQ or part of the invention plugin. I keep getting the "items added to the shopping list" but I can't find the shopping list for the life of me.
Can anyone give me a pointer?
Thanks!

I have uploaded the only copy of this plug-in that I had to the EveHQ website. I believe it's the latest 3.6 but someone else will need to confirm that.
Just to remind users that this plug-in remains unsupported at this point in time, and that the source code is not available.

I apologise for this. I was under the impression I had released the source for this at the time of discontinuation. I will have a dig around my backups and see if I can find the code and release it.

For the record, I am looking at picking up development on this again. I have a little time to work on this at the moment and would like to totally overhaul the code and make it clean and less bug infested and incorporate some of the features that had been requested. Seeing that Vessper is working on his EveHQv2 I imagine that by the time I rewrite this his will be released. As such I think I will start recoding the plugin based around v2 of EveHQ.

The only problem I have with this calculator is that 'avg profit per day' does /not/ include the copy time of the BPC.

Yes it does

You can trivially show that this is not so by changing the 'number of runs' value for the BPC, which changes the copy time; the average profit per day remains unchanged.

I think you've actually discovered a bug. Modules do change their profit per day, ships and rigs apparently don't

Does anyone have the current state of this? I'm pondering taking it up in vs2010 and seeing if i can work out some of the bugs but not so sure how far gone it is since the last 1-2 updates to eve...
