Planets are now beautiful, thank you CCP
Moons are terrific, thank you CCP.
Salad Issue Megathron is vile in the extreme. I loathe the way it now looks, and there can be no justification that excuses making a game that can be so lovely to look at so awful in this instance. Oh, and any idiot can now fit anything they want to on this ship, you've gone way too far with the changes to grid and cpu. Once fitting these ships might require any combination of skill, isk, and compromise to make it work, now I can apparently use anything I want to and still have spare grid and cpu!
Eve works best when it's beautiful and challenging. For me you took a massive step forward with dominion, then for some unknown reason decided to take an almost equally large step backward. Go figure !

Defaults broadcast settings are stupid. Everything should be to everybody at default. Logistics/ RR BS is hard enough already with noobs having auto-target back, but this makes it ridiculous that you cannot even see the broadcasts at all.

Here's some serious feedback.
Fix the Thron's crappy color scheme.
I feel as though The Force was weak with CCP's argument of subjective taste, as the majority of the community has "subjectively" agreed that camoships are a joke and so was the dev response regarding them.
If it is simply an issue of compounding your errors with the eve store model to not **** off your collectors and potential buyers (to which I believe was heavily hinted at in said dev response and entirely understandable) then you simply need to recognize that the store model is what it is -- a COLLECTOR's item. Collector's items rarely if ever maintain an accurate image of something as time ****es. Look at any successful franchise in the last 30 years.
Collector's collect them anyway because that makes them even more rare and special -- having a relic nobody else does.
From a marketing standpoint you can still sell them as "Classic" faction issue battleships, and if you were so inclined you could release a whole new set with different color schemes and probably sell a whole bunch more.
I didn't buy the ones before because I thought that the color schemes were a bloody joke and I wasn't gonna throw out hundreds of dollars on them when I knew they would just look ugly next to my computer. Why would I? They look horrible, and now I know for a fact the majority of the community agrees with me on that.
So then I thought, maybe CCP did not do so well on sales of those models and it is very hard to convince the higher ups about to take that kind of risk again? From this point of view I would simply ask "if the sales were so pathetic as to not warrant a second attempt at release, why should you add a known poison to the formula for your your primary income source?" That just seems like a horrible mistake that would be common sense to avoid. On top of that, if the model sales were so pathetic that you wouldn't try again, then why are so you firm about maintaining the store model images? To you, it shouldn't even matter.
If new models were released with some of the cooler looking color schemes that some of the community members came up with, I can guarantee I would be all over them.
The only other problem I could think that you have with changing the ships is that you have some super sensitive artist that refuses to have his work criticized or else he will quit, or you have someone very very high up who absolutely loves the camoships and is literally saying "screw you guys!"
If either is the case, LOL.
If not, you have no foreseeable reason not to fix this. It doesn't make sense from a marketing standpoint, it doesn't make sense from an artistic standpoint, and it doesn't make sense from a chewbacca standpoint.
Ladies and gentlemen, it does not make sense.

Could I have my Dominion music back please? In a game where pretty much every task can be solved via the logical us of right-clicking, I just don't grock why we can't access a default play list. I mean, seriously, shouldn't a search for EVE in the playlist query get me some tunes? Very frustrating and takes away from one of the best parts of the experience.
Otherwise, yeah, the planets and star fields are very pretty and I'm happy to get Archeology and Hacking a bit easier now. Other than that, I'm pretty much meh... I was fine w/ EVE a week ago. As a new player, the interruption in game play is far more bothersome than the added value in upgrades that I'm seeing.

I really like the new patch, only gripe witht he visiuals:
Why did you **** the nebulas? I know there were always people advocating that theres to many, they are to bright etc. But in all honesty removing them completely would have been better than what we have now, they look like some blurry, undefined pos now. Theres hardly any pixels/stars left on a black background as there seem to be some milky layer everywhere!
Please revert the nebulas to what we had or tone them down but what we have now is just killing all the goodness that came with the new starfield/planet graphics

I went through most of the threads and I have a few detail questions. If I've missed an answer to one of the following questions, by a Dev, please feel free to comment.
1)Can Indexes be improved without having a HUB onlined?
2)Can HUB ownership be transfered?
3)What activity increases which index? Do running plexes and Anoms in your system increase them?
4)Will activities in a specific system only increase the index in said system or will the index in systems throughout a constellation gain a benefit?
5)Will the POS fuel discount increase as an index increases?
6)Will Dominion allow Corporations to claim sov? (If not, why?)
7)Will the index that is affected by mining be increased by how much m3 is pulled, how many rocks are destroyed or how many people are participating in the activity?
8)Will certain POS arrays, such as the refining arrays, be adjusted to make 0.0 life for smaller entities more attractive and possible?
9)What was the thought process behind making HUB's and the top tiered upgrades to large to fit into even a maxed out JF?
10)When talking of the upgrade that increases the chance that a WH or Plex will spawn in the upgraded system: Are these plexes or WH's in ADDITION TO what is currently spawning or are these upgrades simply moving the spawn points from one system to another? 10a)If it's the later, how will multiple upgraded systems in the same region affect each other?

I believe thats due to the FOV change. Which needs to be reverted also. Otherwise backgrounds are distorted, camera control is more suckier, etc.. |

i think the distorted backgrounds are the main issue at hand Signature - CCP what this game needs is more variance in PVE aspects and a little bit less PVP focus, more content more varied level 1-4 missions more than just 10 per faction high sec low sec and 00 |

starfield looks great, not blury here. planets look good, but some look like stickers. Ui look is good.
my frist issue was since my second monitor is slighty smaller then my main, I had to fight with the res setting in the otptions window. a combo of going fullscreen and changing res's got it to work.
some minor bugs with the agent screen diplaying the wrong mission info when a mish is declined. the next mish resquested would still show the declinded mish info.
the new clients use a bit more resoures, no biggie.
my only beef is, I understand why you made the infrstructure hubs 750,000 m3. but havent even been able to place a TCU. we made four atemps to seed a system only to be expunged or denied access to the target system by a gate camp.
I understand its not suppost to be easy, but eve seems very crowed when you looking for a home in 0.0
TBH, I dont see much changing for low sec/empire dwellers, if anything this will allow the large alliaces even more power and more isk then ever before.
anyways we will more then likey stay in our current location, looking toward the stars.

Dear CCP:
Please add shrubberies, massive tangles of spikey thorns and really, really big elderberry bushes to SPACE so that the folks in CAMO painted ships have something to hide behind. Suggest also that asteroids randomly sprout large forests and that there be a chance of a new "eco-terrorist" type pirate faction spawning ships in said forested asteroid belts so the folks in those cute CAMO ships have a reason to be hiding there in the first place and fully utilize their snazzy "you can't see" me paintjobs.

But. The new Camo Megathron sucks. I think it is obscenely ugly, and I don't even own one.

CCP the update is awesome (with the exception of naglfar/moros nerfs). Planets, starfields look good, new mail system is WIN, fleet finder is WIN and the browser is EPIC WIN
Though i got some nitpicks ^^
* A notification for when a new Corp/Alliance bulletin has been posted or updated would be nice. (i know it's not instant, but what about a notification after 15 minutes? better than nothing. 70% of the ppl in my alliance don't even know that there is an alliance bulletin, let alone that i already posted something on it )
* A simple function to add, remove and select playlists in the jukebox would be awesome :) I mean from a list/dropdown menu.
* I noticed you can now add corps/alliances to your buddy list. Though it seems kinda pointless to me as their members won't have the green/red mark next to them. Could we get this too? or at least a blue mark or something to identify them in local ^^
I never used Ctrl + Q and im PROUD OF IT |

Originally by: TurboDog2 Overall patch deployment was excellent. Very little server issues. Well done.
I need clarification on a couple things -
1. During the grace period, do TCUs have any effect on Sovereignty or is Sovereignty still based on POSs? 2. Can TCUs placed by CCP be attacked and destroyed during the grace period? 3. If a TCU was placed by CCP and subsequently moved to a strategic location for defense, does this interrupt Strategic Upgrade timers during the grace period?
Thank You.
1. You can online/offline a TCU still in a system as appropriate to change sovereignty 2. Not if it is invulnerable and it will not be vulnerable until we seed the SBUs next week 3. Your strategic index will be reset which means when we transition over, your strategic dependent structures could go offline due to not meeting the min sovereignty held period.
Yeah so everyones TCU is at planet 1 for ever WOHOOOOO nice grace period!

Planets, moons and stars look really nice. There are isues with shading and stars bleeding though planets but all in all I love the new look. Don't care too much for how decloaking looks. Not sure if it's bugs or just the way it looks now but when the ship comes out of cloak it looks like it's blank, then the skin appears.
Those are just small thing that don't really bother me but small details make a game for me.
Like I said, love the new look though, over all.

My gripe is with some of the changes to the fleet UI...
1) I agree that not broadcasting to everyone by default is dumb.
2) Why do we need the broadcast window to be merged with the rest of the fleet stuff? If u can have the broadcast window + broadcast history joined in a seperate window it would'nt clutter the interface up as much as is the case now. Before u could hide the rest of the stuff which u only use very rarely. The layout for broadcasting + history as it is now is much less simple to navigate than it was pre patch. Plz change it back or atleast make that window 'undockable'.
3) I really dont get why we cant CTRL-Click on the broadcasts to lock up the character that is broadcasting - like we can on the watchlist characters. Plz change it so we can ctrl-click the current broadcast and every broadcast in the broadcast history.

Still Jukebox problems:
Since update to Dominion (before it worked fine).
-Jukebox has the right location set, all songs show in playlist. -A single song plays when selected in jukebox
Problem: - Songs do not continue to play (song1, song2, song3...) - Songs do not autoplay, only when selected from playlist
