Edited by: Arthalion Thoidon on 01/12/2009 21:03:50 Having little else to do, I decided to check if TQ was online early after the release of Dominion, it was. So headed for caldari space to buy me a citadel cruise missiles skill book and train the skill. At around 21.35 GMT training to level 1 should be finished. Meaning I've trained all skill in the game to at least level 1, again.
AND as far as I can tell from the public skill websites, I'm the first of the old 390 skills club to do so. This means, I have to apologize to Tripoli for beating him to what really is his goal: training every skill in the game. I hope I can be forgiven for my crimes.
Anyway for those who want prove: me at eveboard.com.

I think he was still the only person with every skill trained to level II, so should soon be first to get all 391 skills to level II.

That he is indeed, so he should soon indeed be the first one with 391 skills at level II or higher.
Viggen: Gratz on joining me at the top and taking first place in the list . Oh well that was the end of my few minutes of fame.

Eve is full of goals, people are chuffed when they get into their first battleship, make there first pvp kill, achieve 10, 50, 100mil skillpoints, make their first billion isk etc. Getting all the skills trained in game is just another goal, but its a pretty big one that can take years to accomplish. You have to fight the urge to train other skills that my be more important to you at the time or have more appeal. Reaching this goal takes a lot of time, dedication, and isk. The fact that only a few have done this in the Eve universe means that when someone does make it then congratulations are deserved imho.
Im sure you have goals in Eve too right?

Gratz, Arth. I knew this was going to happen, but there just wasn't anything I could do about it. For the past two months I've been preparing for a big event at work, which finally went off on the 1st and 2nd. Until right now, I haven't been able to log in. This marks the first time (out of 6) that somone has completed training every skill in EVE first, and it wasn't me.
I was relying heavily on Fighter Bombers to be my salvation, as I finished training Fighters 5 just last week. Just before it finished, the devs announced that they weren't releasing it. Oh well, I tried.
Skill #391 is on its way to level 1, and 3 hours later will be done with level 2. --- All 391 skills trained. Tripoli on EveBoard.com Tripoli on EVE-Sheet.com |

as far as i am concerned, your only crime was having 20 bill to spend on the titan skillbooks... I have all pre-requisites trained ofr all skills in game but am 8 short due to COST - 4 at 500mill each and then 4 at 5 bill each is a little much for me at the moment
I think over the next year more and more will join your 391 club - if they can get thier hands on the 3 rare skills.. i have some of each sitting in my hanger as a long term investment :)

My crimes isn't even as bad as you think. I spent 'only' 18 bil isk on the titan skills because I finished training those before their market price was increased. But I did have to pay a bit more for my mobile refinery and other rare skills other because I trained those rather late.

Congrats for being able to use nearly every ship and module in the game.
Congrats for being able to fly every frigate, cruiser and battleship perfectly.
Congrats for having the skills to handle any situation that comes at you.
Congrats to you for being a loser that has to whine about other peoples accomplishments. This isn't WoW, in EVE you set your own goals.
