Congrats to everyone, esp. my friend Elvenlord. Nice lineup tbh, tho I am REALLY sad Herschel just cant make it into CSM, he would be awesome delegate. Looks like only solution for him is to join 4S and RAWR :D

Congrats to the winners.
Unfortunatelly, I was drunk when I voted and don't know if my candidates actually won.

Congratulations people! We have high hopes for you. I'm also really glad to see that 3 out of the 7 people that appeared on the Planet Risk Show debates made it to the board (and Helen Highwater aaaaaaaaalmost made it in).
I am though kind of bitter to see that the voter turnout was less than even the first CSM elections... And I do believe that this is partly a communication fault. It has not been adequately communicated in the front eve-o page with big flashing graphics.. and it hasn't been made crystal clear how important this concept is.
Buuuut.. nevertheless.. no whining now.. time to crack open the bubbly =)

The full election list takes you to a page that shows only the elected candidates. Is there a way to see how many votes every candidate that participated received ?
Oh, and go Finland, we like to vote.

You better not mess this up. I don't think I or anybody will have to remind you when you make a decision or when you think about it you affect lots of people. So be careful.
I'm saying this cause your in Noir. and its a merc corp. I'm not sure what you really think about Eve outside of the pvp world but from my experience not many "mercs" or "pirates" don't think to highly of it. Some would say remove everything that is not pvp. ----------- at first i was like and then i was like and then we got to the shower scene and i was like and then i was like |

1 vote difference between 2nd and 3rd place!
It's interesting to see a Russian person elected. That has been a player-base that hasn't been represented thus far.
Congratz to everybody.

Limiting players to 2x 1/2 year terms has quickly dwindled the pool of candidates into obscurity. The first few elections I knew who they were by their forum/game presence.
Now, not at all. Perhaps add a 2-3 year cooldown period after which they can again run for galactic domination.

I think that actually points to something different, namely that some of the more outspoken people on forums and/or in-game aren't willing to run for CSM. This could tie in with the CSM voting turn-out.

i wonder, at what point will CCP drop the CSM idea, how low does the subscriber interest have to go? 5%? 1%?

It is unfortunate that not all of the csm candidates has a resume of sorts. Several of the links offered in the voting window were not linked to any campaign page.

Yea, I kind of hope they make it mandatory to have an easy to access platform/resume. I have been able to find someone to vote comfortably so far, but there may have been better candidates with worse marketing. .

I think that you may consider something when looking at the smaller countries and coming to the conclusion that they are more interested in the election.
The real number that isn't being shown here is Subscriber vs. Account. While every account is given a vote, a subscriber will typically spend all votes on a single candidate.
This means in populations where 1 in 3 people get 3 votes (accounts), for 6 accounts you are counting 6 votes, when in reality there were only 3 People, one with 3 more votes than the others. By default, smaller populations will always look "more interested" than the larger ones because the weight of multiple accounts is far heavier than in larger populations.

0.0 candidates retain their voters, but neutral players just seem to have lost interest. Must say that CCP keeps failing to create publicity for the CSM. ---

Can't see how CCP could make poeple vote for CSM if they don't want to.
If the players don't see how the CSM actually HAS influenced the introduction of player based wanted features (no matter if carebear/pirate or 0.0 dweller) to the game and how the CSM triggered statements from CCP on stuff which will/might be introduced or why not, it's the loss of every player not voting.
There is a distinct lack of industrial/marketing stuff beeing introduced, though.

Your ignorance shows (again). What are you especting after the discontent with last patch extreme hype (as usually) for later dissapointment and 11th hour changes and broken promises?
Doesn't matter how much they try to market it, if they fail to deliver prople will 8as it's happening) lose interest in CSM.

Actually, i would attribute the lower percentage of voters to the decline in the "novelness" of the CSM. It isn't as "oo shiny!" as it used to be, and the voters have mostly collapsed into appropriate voting blocks behind articular candidates.
