Felix Amarr	Posted - 2009.12.04 19:02:00 - [1] so there i was, grinding rats, getting rid of my neg status from pirating b4 i went inactive for a few months, minding my own buisness (ninja ratting 0.0 hehe) 2 in local, there aliance owns the system, im in the last belt, in a ret, taking out a 2 cruiser 2 bs spawn, contact on overview, warp to safe spot, on way out i take note, nemisis..........wtf? stealth bomber going for a AS? whats that other blip? looks like a smaller frig symbol.......ELECTRON BOMB....W T F????? checks market, 800k! and he missed! was he aiming for the rats i was shooting? warps bk, all the same rats are there......... he just thrown 800k straight down the pan! W T F if u wanna throw isk away just transfer it to me! this happen alot? or did i just meet a noob with more isk than sence?

From the Dominion patch notes: The Explosion Velocity attribute has been removed from bombs, since it did not have any effect. So the speed given by the MWD makes no difference, but the Explosion Radius vs. Signature Radius still matters. And the MWD makes you 5 times as big.

Hell, I'd be a bastard and wait at a gate in hopes of catching you in warp to it, and see if I can time the explosion of bomb with you landing on gate. (I've never had the chance to try that yet, but now that I have thought of it I'll practice on sisi) Either way it'll only cost me 15-20mins of time to make back what I lost in isk even if I dropped 10 bombs on you.

But it was fun, it made my technique better, and I did get a few nice results, including a couple of Sabres and an Occator. At the same time, I've lost a Harpy in the middle of a big 'fur ball' fight during one of our Basic classes because I did have my MWD running and was just unable to switch it off or get out of range when a bomb was reported. My bad, but mistakes will be made ... and while I usually don't fit MWDs on assault frigs, it actually payed off earlier when I got a scram/web on a Rapier. I think one thing you need to keep in mind is that people play this game for fun. And what is fun for them might be something that is completely illogical to you. If you try to limit how people play this game to only your way of playing, wouldn't this game get very boring?
