Opening a second front Nearly ten days ago State forces invaded upper Metropolis and started an assault on the Eugidi, Tiat and Angils constellations, opening up a second front in the war between the Empire and the Republic.
Rather than sending conventional battlegroups into the warzone, the State forces operate small and fast scout ships who's only task was to analyze the Republic Fleet defense network for weaknesses.
This tactic is not novel as the Tribal Liberation Force have long employed their own Vigil-class ships in a similar role: gathering intelligence about Amarr defensive installations of all sizes while avoiding hostilities. Until today the presence of missile fire and target painting at Republic Installations made it impossible for 24th Crusade pilots to use this tactic.
Special operatives However, in this assault State scout vessels were flown by special operatives who possessed good contacts with the Republic military. This allowed them to convince Republic forces to hold fire while they surveyed the area.
This left the defense of the Republic areas only to the pod pilots of the Tribal Liberation Front. However, while some 24th Crusade paramilitary organization supported the Metropolis invasion, PIE and many other Crusaders remained focused on Heimatar, fighting for every AU around the nexus system of Auga and defending Empire space from hostile incursions.
TLF torn Torn between two fronts, effectiveness of TLF forces dropped, and Electus Matari stepped in to aid the beleaguered forces in upper Heimatar. However EM and TLF sorties were often foiled by State forces quickly pulling out their light scouts and fielding heavier strike vessels in response.
Another important role was played by the traditional weakness of TLF forces right after daily prayer time. The Amarrian perseverance and dedication to immediately take to the field right after prayer time has been instrumental in the reclamation of many systems, largely offsetting the TLF advantage of being able to scout installations with just one light ship.
State forces adding their own ships during this time made it impossible for the Matari defenders to rouse enough pilots to mount an effective defense and after a few days Caldari intelligence officers reported that many of the codes to the defense network protecting the system bunkers in upper Heimatar were nearly decrypted, setting them up for an assault by conventional means.
The fall Today the first code was cracked and within 20 minutes a large Amarr fleet gathered in Isbrabata to unleash a purifying rain of laser fire on the bunker. The system fell to 24th Crusade forces without any opposition from the TLF shortly after prayer time. In the next few hours the codes to the Aset and Egmar defensive networks were broken too and Crusade fleets moved in and breached the bunkers, again without so much as a token resistance from TLF forces.
The use of special operatives combined with the lack of resistance during the bunker attack means that these systems fell with only minimal loss of life. Only during a few brief skirmishes earlier this week were some lives lost in the fight for Isbrabata, Aset and Egmar, but in comparison to the brutal back-and-forth struggle in the Bleak Lands and Heimatar the loss of life and damage to the infrastructure is insignificant, enabling a relatively peaceful transition.
The Amarr Empire welcomes the people of Isbrabata, Aset and Egmar back into her womb. The enemies of the Empire can rest assured that we will continue our struggle to remove Tyrant Shakor and the threat of the Republic traitors. God willing more systems will fall quickly and with as minimal loss of life as today. The reclaiming continues!

Stand and you shall fall.
Kneel and you shall be saved."

An excellent write-up of the situation, Commander. The Republic Navy is grossly incompetent, and let down everyone they had been fighting alongside.
May the light of God be returned to those systems that are rightfully His.

Light of God?
What light shines from the Empire..all I see are the colours of pain, strife, misery, slavery, bigotry, lies and death. That is the light of the 'holy' Empire.
The fading light in the eyes of a slave child when his Father is killed in front of him. The light from the thousands of lasers of mass execution.
God is pain God is strife God is misery God is slavery God is bigotry God is a lie God is death
and, most importantly God is power

two reasons:
1. he is trying to take credit, though we all know what is really happening. This corruption from the Republic Vessels allowing for Immunity to a certain segment of remote controlled clone shipsąa sign of the infection of corruption.
2. he is trying to justify it, note that even as he explains the "tactic" employed he immediately tries to provide justification by claiming the Minmatar are doing the same thing. You, I, everyone here including Merdaneth know that isn't true. Merdaneth is trying to be the next Hardin. Compared to Hardin, Merdaneth's spin is obvious and sad.
I was going to add "wow Merdaneth i didn't think you could sink any lower" but you know after supporting Garst Tyrell's empire based piracy of neutral industrial groups and their stations, and supporting battlestar crusader openly lying in diplomacy, and your own NBSI behavior in clear violation of PIE's RoE...well lets just say none of us are surprised anymore by the morally bankrupt spin you spew.

It is quite amusing for a member of Star Fraction to cite the "atrocities" of others, with specific examples, when your own list would be longer and citations innumerable.
You can dish it out, but not take it? Why do you care anyway? It's not as if SF is in the Faction War anyway. That would be taking sides, hardly a justified activity for the self-proclaimed keepers of anarchy.
The Minmatar and Amarr have been held to a stalemate for far too long. This is a shift in power, an emancipation of chaos. If you were true to your ideals, you would revel in it, but it seems to me like you are working to maintain balance, to perpetuate the norm.
Tsk, Tsk. You will make the Gods of Anarchy cry...

While I celebrate these victories 24th Imperial Crusade forces are foolish for allying with forces of The State. Firstly, The Caldari State is not under God and therefore is little better than the matar (The State generally follows the rule of law and promotes moral code which advances them above the matari) and will be using these combined ops to study 24th IC tactics and strategy as much as the enemies. Secondly, opening up another front takes pressure off the Gallente who are sure to be preparing for the next State assault. This is a problem because instead of the Federation being swiftly swept out of victory for its many sins and perversions it will be a long drawn out war likely to result in many acts of terrorism and planetary genocide. Additionally if the Matar are as pressed as the Gallente have been this will only lead to more terrorist attacks against loyal servants of the Empire while the Amarr Navy is busy helping to coral the Gallente and em-placing for itself for the inevitable assault from The State.
Let the Caldar and Gallente batter themselves into weakness and let the full might of the Empire fall upon the matar. Then the Empire will fall like a meteor upon the remnants of the Caldari and Gallente fleets and finally unite the whole cluster under God and our Glorious Empress Jamyl I. United through Sarum, Amarr alone! ---

He is not claiming the minmatar do the same, but you not being a part of any militia explains your ignorance.
So let a long-time student of this war explain: He claims that it is perfectly possible to enter a vigil class vessel for a TLF pilot, open up a military installation and take it single-handedly due to the Imperial Navy fielding ships that are not suitable for the task at hand.
The tracking and sub-warp speed of the employed vessels is simply entirely ineffective against a single vigil due to its low signature radius in combination with its speed. Should a 24th IC pilot enter the complex, the vigil just warps of, leaving an entirely risk free option for TLF pilots to successfully undertake plexing operations.
For a member of the 24th IC, this is not possible due to the Republic Fleets heavy use of target painters and missiles, which negate the advantages of speed in combination with low signature.
A similar situation exists in the Gallente/Caldari theatre, where Caldari have no problems outmaneuvering the slow Gallente blasterboats, whereas a Gallente pilot trying to plex offensively is greeted by a hail of missiles of all sizes and permanently jammed by the Caldari Navy, rendering the task considerably harder.

I see years of fighting freedom fighters and 'terrorists' has had an effect on PIE. Gone are the days of focusing on purity and how great the Amarrian God is to them and in are the times where they have to do anything they can to try and retain power in their grasp.
I feel glad that not only are we able to strike at the slavers ships in space, we're able to destroying their cultural traditions simply by existing. I trust that some will see the irony in the Amarrian style of victory here.

And yet we were still able to rollback the Minmatar captures and even occupy Seiside and Lantorn. Taking complexes wasn't difficult for us.

The deployment of certain special operatives has been a mere demonstration of what they are capable of, should their power be used wrong. A needless demonstration if anything.
The amount of resistance from TLF forces has been very much unnoticeable except for one minor battle and due to that, the operatives have made very little difference in the outcome.
On another note, the fall of Gukarla serves as good example to push the fight beyond the few hours after daily prayers. And also marks the fall of 4th system within the first week of our operation. |

Power? If we were after power we probably wouldn't be putting our backs into defending the Empire rather than doing something more lucrative for our own benefit.
This war has clarified things. It has sharpened our purpose. Our existence is, just as it always has been, justified through the Amarrian Lives that we protect. We fight to protect the empire from those who would hurt it. In the context of Shakor's regime, this means we must both take the fight to the enemy as well as defend ourselves.
If the Caldari efforts save Amarrian lives in the long run, then I can do naught save applaud those efforts.

I was thinking about this, and it's gonna be rather funny the day after they exploit their way to their little hollow victory. The day after they take the last system, all little Amarrio down time plexers and Caldri alts, will log in and suddenly realize they have nothing to do but ship spin in Tuomuta.
