"You people" refers to the type of player who shoots first, loots later and never asks questions at all. Acting on the assumption that if such players look into forum threads at all, they'd start right here, looking for new ways to make another life a wee bit more miserable.
If you're none of them, disregard the "you" and read only "people".
I shoot first, loot then and dont ask questions (except maybe "DUDE! why did you fit your ship that bad?") and to be honest, i dont feel any bad about that.
Most non-highsec corps, in special 0.0 corps (and w-space is 0.0 after all) operate under NBSI-Policy.
NBSI means: not blue, shoot it. if you run into me, be it in 0.0 or lowsec, then there are two things that can happen: i think i can take you, and i will engage, or i think i cant and i will try to run. knowing that most others operate under NBSI aswell means i can be sure that if i wait for you to write something nice in local, then i might aswell just selfdestruct. i cannot trust in the good itentions others might have - so if you dont want to get shot by me make sure your blue. simple as that.

Originally by: Shanitra Kerr Nonetheless, with a little bit of civilized behaviour it could have been avoided. Oops. Wrong game, apparently.
Wrong game indeed.
You must be new to EvE because of your obvious naivety. EvE players are extremely territorial. Why share when you can keep it all for yourself? Players will shoot other players at any opportunity they can find, anytime and anywhere.
You are not entitled to anything and you have to fight for everything. If you don't, another player will take it from you.
The sooner you understand this, the happier you'll be in EvE. ATM you don't understand this. ___________________________________ ôIf you're not willing to fight for what you have in EvE... you don't deserve it, and you will lose it.ö ù Karath Piki |

Well the WH have delayed chat, so they coulnd't see that you went in a WH that already belonged to 'them people'. Second thing, WH bring more ISK just because they are more dangerous than hi.sec. And I mention players as well as sleepers that lurk in them. WH's are just like null space, so if you are looking for that 'peace' you're talking about, stay in empire space ( where you can be blown to bits as well before you can spell CONCORD)

Oh wait... You mean in game? Oh, I think its just fine to shoot people in WH space, theres no law that says I have to warn you that I am going to kill you.
i have an idea, next time someone is camping the WH entrance, they can lock and scram then accounce in local that the other person is going to die!

Talking in local in general is a terrible idea.
Talking in local in a wormhole is like painting a giant "**** me!" sign on your ship. --Vel

I read that as demi Bee. Now I have this going round and round in my head:
Half a bee, philosophically, Must, ipso facto, half not be. But half the bee has got to be Vis a vis, its entity. D'you see?
But can a bee be said to be Or not to be an entire bee When half the bee is not a bee Due to some ancient injury?
Singing...
La dee dee, one two three, Eric the half a bee. A B C D E F G, Eric the half a bee.
Is this wretched demi-bee, Half-asleep upon my knee, Some freak from a menagerie? No! It's Eric the half a bee!
Fiddle de dum, Fiddle de dee, Eric the half a bee. Ho ho ho, tee hee hee, Eric the half a bee.
I love this hive, employee-ee, Bisected accidentally, One summer afternoon by me, I love him carnally.
He loves him carnally, Semi-carnally. The end.

Maybe territoriality wasn't his thing.
Maybe his alliance requires x number of kills per week.
Maybe he wanted more salvage material.
Maybe he's a killmail *****.
There are way too many player motivations out there to simply assume that chance meetings will only occur as you anticipate.
