Edited by: nodezeon on 10/12/2009 13:55:43 Edited by: nodezeon on 10/12/2009 13:54:57 Hi All,
Over the past few months I have been trying to find on these forums how to fix my -5.73 Gallente faction standing to allow me to once again enter Gallente space without getting shot at, and pretty much always ran up against "Your screwed".
Eventually through a lot of goggling and piecing information together I managed to "fix" my standing.
I have produced a guide all about how I did it; it took me about 2-3hrs to get from -5.73 to -4.76 (with Diplomacy Lv 4).
It will work for fixing any of the main 4 empires faction standings too not just Gallente.
It should work for most people, as long as your standing aren't too bad I have also included options to help people that have really really bad standings as in people with -7.0 to -10.0 (after diplomacy skill has been applied) that maybe people havenĘt thought of.
If you would like a copy of the guide (provided in word format via e-mail) please send 25million Isk to "nodezeon" in game. Along with an in-game mail with your e-mail address.
I understanding this may sound like a scam, however I can assure you it is not, all this information is available via Google if you look hard enough, I just consolidated my experience into an easy to use all in 1 place guide.

So, you're going to sell this info? FFS, with the recent patch anyone can now repair their faction standing, since level 1 agents will remain available regardless of standing. There, that was free.

There are agents from "enemy" factions to be found in friendly systems. For example, Caldari agents can be found in Gallente space.

Problem is you'd be grinding for days, perhaps even weeks?
In the guide you'll learn the easy way and benifit from my errors. I'll tell you the best way to do it and why.
There are plenty of people sitting in stations all over eve trying to scam people out of ISK and all you get is unlucky it is game mechanics.
I got off my arse and wrote a guide that will be valuable to some people in eve why shouldnt I ask a small fee for it?
If it's a scam the best im gonna get is 25mill, cause the 1st person to get scammed will post here saying so, not a very good scam =\
All it takes is 1 person to buy it and post here what they got... As a previous poster said I hinted to some of it in my 1st post.... I did this on purpose so people know that I know what im talking about .
As I sad i'm not and cant force anyone, but If standing is a problem for you then give it a punt.

The solution to -5 faction standings or worse is to get in fleet with a pilot who is running Storyline missions for that faction.
So, if you're -5 for Gallente then you need to find a buddy (or pay someone) to run missions for one of the Gallente corps (lets say "Federation Navy") whilst having you in their fleet. Every 16 missions they run will allow them to do one "storyline" mission and on completion of that mission both your Faction standings for Gallente will increase just a little.
The alternative to this is to kill rats but you have to kill litterally thousands of them.

It's a way of doing it. Probably not 2-3 hours though. Would be quicker if there was a group of corp mates running level 4's and you were in fleet. ---------------------- They're angry there was damage done to their ship. It's not difficult! |

Edited by: Da''Than on 10/12/2009 16:22:32 Jump into your pod, look for a system with loads of Lvl1 and a storyline agent. Take the missions, warp to the gate, have a friend that is not KoS do the mission, hand it in. Rinse and repeat. Train Social to IV (better V), and it will not take too long.

I think faction gain is still not shared, only the one that accepted the mission gets a faction gain. And for rats... did they ever give faction gain?

Bad Minmatar or Gallente standings? Run Sisters of EVE missions to up them without nuking Amarr and Caldari standings. For high sec, there are three L2 agents in the Forge all one jump from each other; Soshin, Vatuollen, and Akkilen, IIRC. And there's a nice L4 in Osmon, also in the Forge.
Bad Amarr or Caldari standings? Run Khanid Kingdom missions to up them without nuking Gallente or Minmatar standings. You can always try Royal Khanid Navy L1/L2 missions out of Kihtaled -- And they have high sec L4s in Palas.

Even better. I've got a guide on how to make ISK fast. If you send me 10 Mil (quickly now!), I will send you an Eve Mail with the guide. Best yet, it's only a one line guide, it only needs to be. (Can you guess what that ones line says?)
Then, if you follow the instructions in my guide, you can quickly pay for this guy's guide.
If sarcasm is too thick, I apologize. Why not contribute to the community, if you have such a great guide? It will get you much more love, and maybe even donations. But really, the ways to do it are known, friendly factions (SOE), new ability to run low level missions (they go up from -10 to 0 much faster than from 0 to 10, of course), and so forth.

This is actually not true, and the fact that the OP believes it is (but would take weeks) should lead anyone to not buy the guide from him, since he doesn't understand.
You can't share faction standings gains from storyline missions, only corp standing gains from regular missions.

Doesn't the corp have to have a .5 average to be in FW? I fear my standings would prolly kick the corp out of the militia :P.

Edited by: Pottsey on 10/12/2009 17:40:40 Caldari standings bad? Just hand in a few tags for standings, run a few Caldari cosmos agents outside Caldari space. Every Cosmos mission is classed as a storyline mission so added with handing in tags to agents for standings you can dig yourself out a hole all in one weekend or less. This goes for all 4 race's. Now that you have read this you automatically agree to my contract and have to wire me 25million. ______ How to Passive Shield Tank T2

TBH I didnt realise this, but thats becuase I didnt do it like that, as my initial post said it only took me 2-3hrs (if i had the guide before hand I could probably do it in like 90mins) and I could not have achieved that with one storyline every 16 missions, hence why I said it would take you a long time.
Also to address another post yes 1 way is to find a corp like SOE, but you would face the same problem... 1 story line every 16 missions and you would have to work your way up from a lv1 agent... thats a lot of grinding.

So nodezeon is your guide just saying hand in Caldari tags for Gallente faction standings and then run 5+ Cosmos missions each which give Gallante faction standings all in a 2-3hours? I really hope you're not trying to charge people for common info like that.
What next your going charge people with info of how to get free faction ships by just speaking to an agent with high standings.

Pottsey, as I said, all the info is available on the internet if you know where to look and what your looking for.
My guide offers all the info you need in 1 place, my 1st hand experiance, some tips, what you need to do, how, when and why.... and how to maximise the results.
I am done defending the guide, it is very useful and potentially valuable information for those that require it.
I myself have purchased guides from these very forums, hence where i got the idea from to write the guide! And Yes, it's a leap of faith for the 1st person to buy it, but I can gurantee to those that need to fix there standing it is invaluable information, I wish i had known this info 6mths ago.
This is my main, so if anyone would like to convo me in game to discuss what I am offering further you are more than welcome.
I am online usually between 09:00 - 17:00 game time.

nodezeon the problem is from our point of few your trying to sell easy to get common information and you're not providing enough information to say what you have is anything but the easy to get info. How is what you have any different from http://wiki.eveonline.com/wiki/COSMOS or the rest of the wiki?
What if I have already done Cosmos and the tags and I want to fix my standings. Will your guide help? Or would I be wasting my isk buying it?

Well, first of all I didn't use COSMOS agents, if you have run all the COSMOS missions then this would be standing on top of that..... even better!
Like I said in my previous reply, in addition to the knowledge you need to actually go do it (e.g. freely available information) you get the benift of my 1st hand experiance, some tips that I learnt from the mistakes I made, I will even be willing to answer personal questions should anyone get stuck, which I doubt anyone would.
I do believe that the information is worth 25mill i mean come on.... at the end of the day it's one decent quality lv 4 mission.
I had to do this to gain access to Gallente space to use a JF for my corp, I believe that other also would benefit financially from this info too.
I really dont know what else to say, its a legitimate guide with genuine benifits... perhaps you would act as a middle man? I send you the guide on the understanding you don't forward to anyone else... and validate its content? if your happy you post here that it legit??

I'd take that. I'm not really well known in the mission forums, but I've been seen in MD. I'd hope that I'd be trustworthy with something like that.
In fact, if it's legit and as you claim (and not plagiarized from a thread in the sticky), I'll give you the 25 Mil ISK when I next log in.

*Chuckle* I did that - bumped my Gallente and Minmatar standing up with introductory missions, tag turn-ins, and Gallente and COSMOS missions. Then I noticed how terrible my Amarr and Caldari standings were. Went over and ran a few Caldari COSMOS missions in the Okkelen constellation... and saw a hit on my hard-earned Gallente and Minmatar standings! >.<
I don't mission as much these days, but I am working on a few agents in the Khanid Kingdom area to redeem myself with the Amarr and Caldari without hurting my nice Gallente, Minmatar, and Sisters of EVE standing. ^_^ -- Nam Sibyllam quidem Cumis ego ipse oculis meis vidi in ampulla pendere... |

Who gives a flying turd whether you've made a few posts in MD? Does that make you trustworthy? - no. Does this post make me trustworthy? - no. Are there in fact any trustworthy people in EVE? - ultimately no, not in the long run. It's a cliche, but it's all basically pixels.
I'm not trying to start a flame war here, but I am suggesting that you present your credentials a little better. Posting some threads relating to economics in EVE and shooting down the odd scammer/poor unfortunate who doesn't conform to Emm Dee's ridiculous requirements to join the club
The OP is on to something though. Of course, the information is freely available on the Internet - no one is disputing that. The problem is, when I did the COSMOS/Data Centre missions (if indeed that is what he is referring to), the information was out there but in several differnet places and indeed in several different languages (does anybody recall that German site?). I like the OP's idea and kudos to you for taking the time to write the guide. In all honesty, if you've screwed your standings so that they might appear irreperable, you've got enough money not to worry about a 25m donation. ---

lol, woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning? Just noting that I don't post in here as often as MD. I have held 1 Bil and 5 Bil ISK in other people's money, more than twice my NAV, and returned it with interest as promised. Will you trust me with your account? No. Do you think I might make good on a 25 Mil and guide checking promise? Most probably. I blinked and I have 25 more Mil in my account just as I checked just now.
So yeah, not trying to get in a fight. I was just pointing that I've been around. Someone seems to have a bone to pick with MD, though. You can take the fight over there, if you please.
