EVE-MEEP Version 3 The Eve-Online Multiuse Economic Efficiency Planner
Visit the Website at www.eve-meep.com Source can be found at https://sourceforge.net/projects/evemeep/
Requires the .Net Framework 3.5 to run, installer will make sure you have it Current Version: 3.0.0.0 Sourceforge Mirror: Download Eve-Files Mirror: Download
Eve-MEEPv3 is the latest version of the most advanced industrial application. Eve-Meep brings together all of the power of the Eve API and combines that with a variety of calculators focused on improving productivity and profit in Eve.
For documentation on how to use EVE-MEEP, Check this out
API Functions The Eve-API is a way for third party applications and websites to get data from the game automatically. Eve-MEEP takes advantage of this by automatically loading and updating character sheets, wallet transactions, wallet journal entries, assets, and more. By accumulating this data, Eve-MEEP provides you with an unprecedented amount of current and historical data relating to your in-game activities. More about the Eve-API and how to use it can be found Here. Eve-MEEP requires the full API key to have access to transactions and journal information, but it can be run on limited access or no key at all.
Inventory Utilizing the Assets API, Eve-MEEP is able to track all of your assets. Never lose another item or wonder what your inventory is again. Browse through your assets by market groups, by location, or just search for an item to find where it is. Pull up an item, and instantly see how many of that items each of your characters and corporations have and where it is, then check to see what current market orders for that item are.
Pricing Eve-Meepv3 now utilizes both Eve-Central and Eve-Metrics to provide the mot acurate pricing possible for all items. Eve-Metrics is also used to pull an items historical price data, something that no other application yet does. This means that Eve-Meep is capable of recreating the in-game market screen, letting you analyze market trends and plan your next moves from outside the game.
Plug-ins/Updates Plugins are used by the appication for calculations. All downloading of plug-ins, data files, new versions, etc. will be done through the Eve-MEEP updater. Found in the menu under "Help->Check For Updates", it makes sure everything is up-to-date. Anything that you are missing or is outdated will be available to download through the application.
Bug Reporting Please don't just say, "The application crashed!". I need to know what you were doing when it crashed (exact numbers please) so I can reproduce it myself. There is a folder called Logs in with the application. This folder will contain all the bug reports that the application generates. When you have a problem or a crash, please send me (email, or evemail) that log file so I can hopefully find the error. ------

Its been 11 months since the last update to version 2 came out, and actually 3 years 2 months since I released Meepv1. When version 2 was out, many people had problems with the api updating, and the grids just getting errors and blanking out (among other things). When I tried to fix these errors, it was pretty obvious that the issues were more from how I wrote the application, and would require massive amounts of effort to fix. So work began on version 3. I initially compiled a list of what everyone had given as feedback from version 2. Work then began to write the program so these limitations did not exist. Grimdahl signed on to the project just as I was finishing the initial API groundwork, and starting on the UI. I can honestly say that without his help, this app would never have been finished. He took some of the hardest code, like pricing and blueprints, and made it work. ------

I had this problem as well. Uninstall Eve-Meep, Delete the install directory manually, delete the data under your my documents directory, install to the root directory (IE: C:/EveMeep/), and run the troubleshoot compatability program on it. -

When in doubt, delete the file and it will just make it again for you (if it does not do that automatically). ------

I can't get any of the options to run. Keep getting a null error. I've followed this thread so far and tried all you have suggested.

Win 7 - 32 bit, latest patches, American English version.
I wasn't able to select my toon then did everything in the thread. Nope, that didn't fix it. I uninstalled, but didn't grab the error message, re-installed and it seems to run fine now.
There are a few "nags" but I'll bet they will/could be fixed later. Stuff like:
1. I run an invention job but don't want to sell the BPC but build from it. How much profit would I earn with build ammo vs. sell ammo BPC?
2. It would be great to see the invention and industry information available on both sheets
But I'm still loving it!

Can you give me any more information about the first set of issues? Was the app unresponsive, and if so is it possible the app was still downloading all the API info?
For #1, the BPC has a set market value if you were to sell it (the invention calc gives you this). Use that value in the production calculator for BP cost and it will tell you if there is profit to be made from building. #2, you want to see what, the history of all jobs performed? ------

It might have been still downloading it...but I left for a few minutes and came back. When I looked at the profile to select default toon I just got a blank section where the portraits should be.
It has been working fine since I reinstalled it.

I can do that....I'm lazy and was hoping there was a way to see how much I could make if I invented X. Check out the invention calculator(R.I.P.) for an example.

Yes, some kind of a historical data for what I have built vs. sold.

Win7 64 bit UAC off running as Admin.
Meep auto update seems to take a long time to load the modules and when it loads the download for the latest API.dll will say "wrong MD5" and not update. I tried putting the latest dll in the main meep folder and no luck.

I dont know what the exception is, but I do know the API is currently down, which is why nothing API-wise (like characters) is loading. ------

Yay! Looks nice, very shiny.
What I would love to see if better character management - I've got 3 accounts, with 3 alts, thats 9 toons in total. Only 3 are actual game characters, the rest are research or market alts, so I don't care about them.
What would be nice would be if you could ignore some characters, and/or use multiple API keys. Kinda like Evemon ;)
