Haven't seen this one reported yet... Installed and configured just fine, seems to search and apply updates fine, except for PluginInterface. MEEP says my MD5 sum is incorrect, but when I try to download it from either mirror, it just says "Unable to download file."

Edited by: Mashaw on 13/12/2009 02:38:23 Most of the "Total Value" values are 0 on the Assets tab/plug-in.
Where is this data pulled from, and how can I adjust it?
EDIT:
MD5 checksums in the updater were incorrect. After updating assets display correctly. Visit & Comment on my blog http://mashawblog.blogspot.com/

Any way to make that ISK/time chart at the bottom of the wallet view taller? The width is fine, but the numbers are so short I can barely even read my (lack of) money.

I really want to be able to just enter my own prices in the reprocessing plugin (and anywhere a prices is used really) syncing them to someones market dumps is fine, but I should be able to easily override the sc****d prices at any time.

Stupid question maybe : did you press save button? (appears if you edit something)

In the moment you just can do a general override. For that create a 'manual price' entry at the asset/resources you want to have such an override. Then change the price assignment of DefaultBuy and/or DefaultSell to your wanted manual price entry. --> done
Unfortunatly Reprocessing, Efficiency and POSState don't support direct pricetype selection in the moment. Will take care of that - keep looking for plugins update.

Hi
I was wondering if there is a way to force a asset update on eve-meep3 since I have bpo's that doesnt update with the rest of my assets. Congratulations on a very good application.

Ok, so when i add a new API the program freezes and crashes. When i restart it everything is loaded fine. Im pretty sure this is from downloading the xml info from the API? I have the exact same thing with the API programs ive made, where it freezes up when downloading. If this is the same, have you tried making a separate thread for downloading the API, so the window/GUI will be running on its own thread? This usually solves the problem for me.

We do run all the API methods from sepeat threds, but I fear we are starving the thread pool. At maximum, you have 3 chars + 3 corps, each with like a dozen APIs to get, so thts alot of work. I am playing around with throwing all the API stuff to below-normal priority and seeing if that will work, but I am afraid that we will run into other issues if we try that. ------

I still can't get this program to work and I have no idea if it's updating. I've uninstalled and deleted setup folders, etc and there is no change. Then when I load a profile, it just crashes whenever I try to do anything with the same errors posted above.
Honestly, I would clean up the updater form some. I open this up and it says "Please wait" but I can click on any of the buttons on the form. Then it just goes blank. I can't tell if the program is actually doing anything or not. Then I click update...and it lists a bunch of things in red with update available....then I click get updates and again, it doesn't do anything. Sometimes I get a list of updates that is different than another list. I'm not sure what is going on with either. I'm running windows xp professional service pack 3.
If the updater is working as intended, a few suggestions.
If you are actively doing something in the background,
- change the mousepointer to show something is going on. The hourglass is usually a good default.
- don't let the user click on any buttons unless you want them to. A cancel button would be fine but allow something for the user to know something is going on. I can't tell if it's working or if nothing is happening. A progress bar would be helpful as well.
- make the form modal so that the user has to hit cancel to do any other operation on the program. The user shouldn't be able to go to the main program while this is updating (assuming it is relatively fast).

theres a problem with negative PE Level in the production tool
is there a way to remove "blueprints for production items" in the production tool and set a market price for the item? so that i can produce a tech2 item with buying the tech1 item out of the market (or any other item)
great work so far

This has been fixed, and will get pushed out some point soon.
We are still testing some fixes for the bug where the app sometimes hangs up when you create a new profile, and hope to have that out sooner than not. In the mean time, if it does crash for you, you can make a new profile with a different name, or delete the profile xml (located typically in My Docs>EveMEEP>Resources>Profile) and make it again. ------

I played around a bit more and this is what I found.
I thought to try out the program with a full key (was using limited) and the profile information loads the characters but does nothing when using a limited key. Also, the updating works much better (even though I still think the suggestions I gave would be helpful) when using a full key over the limited but it still shows invalid checksum in the updater.
Also, when using the full key:
When I open the invention calculation and choose a blueprint, I get a null value error.
When I open the production window and select a blueprint, my skills are not reflected in the program.
When selecting a corporation or a character that has a POS, I can't do anything with the pos window. I'm not sure what this tool is for or if I'm using it wrong.
I made 2 different profiles and got the same issues.
Anyway, I might revisit this program in the future if you get the bugs worked out. I liked some things in the old version. Good luck.

I love EveMeep... However for the life of me, I cannot get this new version to work without crashing. Adding API, crash. Restart, begins to load profile. Nothing loads. Clicks efficiency tab, crash. Restart, still none of the profile loads.
Anyone have a link to the old version? I stupidly deleted my old one before testing this new one. Please keep us updated on when the kinks will be worked out. Like I said, EveMeep and EveMon are my two Eve programs of choice, and right now, only one of them works.
Running Windows 7 x64. Tried in WinXP compatibility as well as running as Administrator. Still gives Unhandled Exception errors and drops to desktop.
Good luck with the bug fixes! -----------------------------------

I had the same problem as you. Once you restart EVEMEEP, and the profile doesn't load, try creating a new profile with the same API info. Everything worked perfectly for me after that. ---------- There is always a choice. Are you using limited key or full? I had the same experience you did when using limited key then when I put in full it pulled profile information. Still crashed though in certain places.

I notice that in the production tab when making t2 guns, it has your make 1 R.A.M- weapons tech per gun. So for 19 guns it will have you tell you to makes 9 ram runs, when you'd only need around 3

We are working to fix the issue with the profiles, but its proving rather difficult to track down the error as it could be one of a few things. We have some fixes done that seem to help from what we can tell, so those will go out over the updater soon(tm). ------

Love eve-meep, its simplified a lot of my logistics and pricing, and would love to donate some iskies to the creator.
I know you've got your hands full with the profile creation issue at the moment, but one nice addition would be to allow you to tailor your prices to your specific region, as i dont see any way to filter the prices from Eve Central, maybe im missing something as im still exploring the functions.
Sort of linked to this is the ability to review the prices, that are being loaded, as per the current filters (Buy Mean, Buy Median, Sell Mean, etc).
Keep up the good work.

When you press 'Set Region(s)' you can select your default pricing region. For downloading you can have a list of regions. Choose 'selected regions' -- now the 'Set Regions' button will allow you to setup the regions. Loading always loads complete set (BuyMean,BuyLow,SellHigh,...) of prices.
For EveMeep wide change of your used price type change the settings under Profile/CurrentProfileDetail/PricingPreferences. For item/resource specific change only - you can change it within the PriceInformation sheet

Ok, so some updates have been deployed, hopefully that will fix the issue with the profiles. There is also a fix to the updater which should make it load faster and play nicer. Again, these files can be downloaded via the updater or manually from https://sourceforge.net/projects/evemeep/files/
Also fixed: Sorting of industry jobs by date/time Send-to production calc (right-click a bp in your assets and you'll see what I mean) Production time in production calc fixed ------
