Yes, I have no idea what I'm talking about. I certainly don't have several years experience in system administration, nor do I currently run a hosting operation. If I did I'm sure we would never suspend and later terminate delinquent accounts regularly per our terms of service. In fact, the internet spaceship sob story would probably be more than enough to convince me to continue providing you service at a loss.
Realistically, speaking to him several times each is the extent of your acquaintance with him by your own statement. I've still got a good friend from high school harassing me over a $6.00 dispute for a bnc account. Good luck with your "we know him so he'll give us free service" theory. I am sure it's going to work out splendidly.
Hello, making more assumptions today, are we?
I stated that a large part of the board has spoken to him. However I speak to him on a regular basis over messenger.
This isn't your average hosting company, it's one-man operation where payment is done via a manual paypal transaction. He won't kill the database if we are a day late. And he won't kill the site without talking to me/Ray. |

Which is my point.
Ray is ... AWOL from these forums and has been since 29th Nov. You are tarnished and no longer the market elite you like to profess yourself to be. Few trust you at your word anymore my friend.
EBank is a dead donkey and the web server is about to go offline.
Hexxx is welcome to flush his hard earned cash down the gurgler to keep it online but as yet he hasn't done so. His 'promises' to do so are as good as the promise of ability for EBank customers to withdraw their isk.
Very troubling... very indeed.

Ooookaaay? What does that have to do with anything?

I disagree. But that's a matter of opinion.
Quote: and the web server is about to go offline.
Incorrect, the web server is NOT about to go offline.
Do you wanna bet on it? If you are so certain it's going to go offline, how about we deposit 2bill with Chribba each? By February, if the server has gone offline for an extended period of time, you get the whole 4bill? If not, I get it?

That's funny. How do you think we have been keeping the site alive? The BoD has been very nice at getting together cash for the site. Hexxx even paid a large sum to help with the initial hosting cost.
So he has done so. But not recently, because EBANK isn't in dire need of funding.

I realize you're not being serious, but I feel the need to clarify: dispute =/= debt. The service failed to deliver one of the functions it was purchased for even after several rounds of troubleshoooting. The utilized portion of the service was paid in full, while the disputed portion remains unresolved. It's a fairly silly dispute over what amounts to pocket change, which was here intended as an anecdote to illustrate how serious a "one man operation" can take its billing

This whole topic is silly beyond reason.
So what if ebank is not getting payments from its users. could anyone expect differently in the current situation? Now if ebank was complaining about the lack of public support (and acompanying payments) for their site, then you would have something news worthy, but this is utter nonsense. And it is detracting from the real issues.
much like another detailed explenation on ricdic's theft, or details on other previous board members mistakes/thefts other than amounts and actions taken
Perosnally I am mostly intrested to learn how things are right now and how they are expected to be in one month from now, and how you are goin to get there.
please drop (and ignore) this sillyness and focus on what is importand.making isk and taking actions that will allow you to regain customer confidence.

Why did we need to keep trolling LVV? Seriously... The remaining Ebank people are actually trying, and even the ones that are actually with Ebank anymore (see above). This constant barrage of... garbage... has to be wearing on them.
There are still people that don't want you lynched LVV, believe it or not.

As usual E-Bank disregards the very reasonable concern.
Due all respect, care to explain how it's a reasonable concern?
It has been addressed, and it has been pointed out that it's nothing but FUD.
Due all respect, why do you think you are relevent anymore?
You are, at best, an incompetent failure and at worst, a scammer. Failure LVV is fail

What did I do to provoke that ad hominem?
frankly, I think you are an incompetent arrogant jack ass.

Also troubling...your lack of reading comprehension.
I have two separate projects I'm working on right now on the same host...I'm good friends with the guy and I often talk to him about his business. I used him for EBANK when I first setup the hosting and I continue to use him for other projects I do. EBANK will no sooner go offline than my other projects like eve-insurance.net. A simple DNS whois will show EBANK and eve-insurance.net are both hosted at the same host.
Look, Taikun, I understand that this is about as good as it gets in your life right now...30 seconds of attention in some random troll thread. I feel sorry for you and for the people around you that must endure your presence for longer than the typical one week of trolling you engage in every month or so.
Truly, those around you suffer far more than we and my heart goes out to them. You are a confused and troubled individual.

In two weeks their cash balances have increased by 5.38 billion. At that rate, it will take the bank 14 years to repay depositors in full.
Mind, that¦s if you believe their public financials, and they have admitted to having private financials, which could tell a very different story - better or worse.
They could repay around 350 billion immediately if they took certain actions, but I doubt those actions appeal to them.
