Is it the same gabble like at Stargates or inside Missions?

Better rat voices then combar sounds right?^^
Seriously, its not possible and i h8 it too

As expected, this sound is terrible in the live game and I'd be surprised if anybody is pleased with it. Anybody of those of us who still actually play with sound enabled, that is We are a dying breed...
But, yeah. These forums seriously need some indicator that the post has ended and the sig has started. EVE has devs that care about sound? (Ha ha ha! Gotcha. It actually doesn't!) |

EVE has sound? ---- a reply which adds nothing to a thread or results in a thread being bumped with no new discussion worthy content is considered spam and as such warrants a forum ban |

You guys play with sound on? In game noise sounds like a cat giving birth to a flaming refrigerator.

Well then you might have found yourself a fix. All you have to do is create a new .stuff of the same name where that resource has been replaced with a recording of silence and then replace resSND.stuff in your installation directory with the new .stuff file you made.
It is probably not a trivial task (but it might be), it will be nuked by the repair tool first time you run it, and it is likely a violation of the EULA. Therefore I can't really recommend that course of action, but if the sounds bug you that much it is probably a solution.

It is simple.
CCP just have to turn of the rat comm while we fight them. Do we fight or do we talk?
Or give us the option to turn it off somehow.

In my Opinion the sounds itself is perfectly fine, all ccp needs to do is add more volume controls or slider bars, so you can set the volume of each or similar items individually.
like a bar for station background sound only for example.
no need to redo the sound, just give the customer more control.
tbh i have a bigger issue with shield hardeners being overpowering loud when zoomed in than the NPC chatter
