Hrmmm. Can't have everyone spamming faction ships at the ffa but on the other hand being able to use a faction ship for personal testing to see if it is worth investing in on tq would be nice. Maybe if ccp only gave us 1 of each faction ship in the redeem menu at the start of a mirror and maybe an additional set sometime later if there is going to be a large amount of time before the next mirror. This would let anyone try them out but would limit the ffa spam to a single go for each type instead of the ten of each like before. Granted you could get more if you have your character slots filled and have multiple accounts but starting at a base of 1 isn't the best for multiplying something.

Use the one you get on TQ. Or use LP to get one on sisi.

SiSi is not your playground, it's there for you to test CCP's fixes and find bugs. They stopped giving us the faction ships and Supercaps one week before the release of Dominion because all the testing had been done. Why do you want to report yourself as an ISK spammer? If you are one, just stop spamming already! |

1. I'm a paying customer.
2. I presume that CCP cares about its business.
3. I don't see what anyone loses if pilots get a chance to test out the odd ship in the test server. Giving me an explanation for CCPs reasoning for them being introduced doesn't discount the validity of my reason for wanting them.
4. You wrongfully assume I run Caldari missions. In fact I have a negative standing with Caldari.
5. I have to question the logic of anyone suggesting I grind in a test server for anything. Waste hours of my time on the test server to obtain a high value item before buying ingame, as opposed to grinding in TQ, having the ship where it counts as well as resale value for my time.
6. The point isn't that I want a "playground". The point is I don't want to invest SKILLPOINTS towards a ship that proves less useful than anticipated.
7. If CCP wants unpaid testers they should throw us a bone. |

This topic has been done to death. CCP will not give out SP or ships unless there are special occasions.

You're paying for access to TQ, which is what you get. SiSi is only an added bonus given to us by CCP without any obligation to do so.

How could you even test for bugs if you have never flown the ship? It's not your private testserver. Giving out ships or SP would only disctract from actually testing relevant stuff.

Training towards a certain ship is a though choice everyone has to do for any ship he considers flying. Even if everyone on the forum would be saying: grat ship! It just might not be good for you because you prefer a different playstile than this particular ship reeqires. Choices and consequences are an important aspect of EVE.

YOU are not a tester, you only want to try out ships to see if you like them. Why of all people on SiSi should CCP throw YOU a bone?

Get off your soapbox fanboi. I'M an unpaid tester who has probably filled out more bug reports than you have. And yes, it would be nice to have a couple faction ships and supercaps at my disposal, seeing as it wouldn't hurt anybody.

Just do us the favor and leave. If you don't want to invest skillpoints, then fine. Ask someone who has the SP or EFT. SiSi is not your personal test bench, its CCP's test bench.

OK, now, two options here: a) you are not his alt: I wasn't talking to you, so sod off
b) you are his alt: Originally by: Agent 42 FFA? I don't even know what that is, I just want to test out a Navy Raven for lvl 4s.
So mister pro tester doesn't even know what an FFA on the testserver is. Sure.

If your (Nika Dekaia) opinion is/was a reflection of CCPs it no real surprise that CCP have such difficulty getting people on the test server to help out.
CCP is a corporation thats sole goal is to remain profitable, your laughably misguided loyalty degrades the customer service CCP should be offering.
Getting a pat on the back for doing a mediocre job is never a good thing, especially in business, So please stop jumping down the throats of people raising legitimate concerns.
(p.s. I really hope your not a dev alt! I doubly hope you never ever get a job in CCP. Frankly - your attitude stinks)

Simple steps to get a faction ship on SiSi:
1. Train skills on TQ. 2. Wait for mirror. 3. Buy ship and fittings after mirror. 4. Grind standings back up since they are reset. 5. $$$. Why do you want to report yourself as an ISK spammer? If you are one, just stop spamming already! |

wtf is it you exactly want to test? isent it obvious a cnr performs good enough since 9/10 mission runners use them for lvl4's and there is like a million setups on battleclinic with 150 thumbs up and about 2-3 posts a day in the ships and fittings section about the debate between cnr, golem and tengu?
Dont be a ******. If you want a CNR, buy one you wont be disappointed.

Meh, FFAs are crap for testing gamebugs anyways, as it's not a controlled environment. FFA's is where you will find people engaged in "tests" no more beneficial to CCP then the what the OP wants to do.
*Maybe* if you really are a single accounter (yeah, right), and don't have friends interested in testing, you might actually get some proper use out of them, but you'd be 1 out of 100 in that case. Or maybe 1 in 1000.

Like many others, I'm a player who needs to choose carefully how I spend my ISK on TQ, so I'd personally be delighted if I could flight-test ANY ship on Sisi before investing the ISK and train-time for it on TQ.
However, that's not what Sisi is for so asking for it is pointless. It's never going to happen.
The faction ships were available while they were being changed because CCP needed player testing/feedback to ensure that they were balanced. The changes are now live so there is no longer any need for them to provide the ships. Sad but true.
