Was amazed to see pictures of a Rorqual driving off a gatecamp...then saw that said Rorqual had a small fleet of fighters assigned...
But still, makes for a good laugh just seeing the pics.

Actually gents there were no fighters involved until United upped the ante by calling in a friendly Moros (and why would they risk their own caps?). At that point I got on the Batphone to Invicta. It took them around 20 minutes to get ready to have a pop and I was able to goad the Moros into a second siege cycle. The Rorqual dropped the camp with the support of a curse and a Falcon and no backup on hand. I'll also remind you that Rancer is a 0.4 so fighters cannot be assigned.

Battleships can fit more smartbombs than caps, except titans, but those cant dock...

As my mother used to tell me about spiders, "it's afraid of you more than you're afraid of it" seemed to be the motto of this tale. Several of the united fleet jumped out into the safety of crielere, and others warped off, but that was not all. This rorqual wanted blood.

The united fleet was in chaos, they warped off as many as they could. The poor megathron couldn't withstand the fierceness of the mining ship and had to run for it, wit his tail between his legs. The rorqual was victorious.

Being a carebear, this ship's pilot had no e-honour, and rubbed salt into the wounds by camping the fiercest of pirate corps into their own station.

Tl;dr
Rorqual attacks united gatecamp, 10 or so united ships flee the scene, the rorqual camps them into station

I'll admit that's quite funny but I can understand United's pov - they've had titans jump bridge in fleets on top of their camps (I know, I've been with them when it's happened and I've been part of a fleet that's done it). In fairness they were probably running from the ~cyno~ than a rorqual :)

I do believe he was refering to a Titan bridging in a subcap fleet on top of the gatecamp.
On to the original topic, a Rorqual can be a very nasty ship against a small gang, lots of neuts, heavily bonused drones, capital shield tank (I remember that loonatic that went around in one ganking BS's)

Moros was me well my capital side was bored and it wa scollecting dust why wud i spend 2bil on a ship and not use it?
Also day left on insurence ftw \o/ this got lols in lcoal when i said it.
Shame that rorq got the rr just as it entered hull but meh win some and lose some new one is ready to go but ent time ill make sure i have back up ready :p
and for the record was laggy as hell but i knwo for a fact their was 10 carriers there as well as the rorq :P
so good show lads and see u in 13weeksish when i have a day left on insurence again :P

The funny part about invicta is that one of the united guys wanted them to hotdrop the rorqual, but instead they get hotdropped by invicta

I was replying to someone who was replying to my own post.
They run from a cyno because people use titans to jump bridge fleets and blow up their camps. I've had it done when I was in United and I've done it to United.
Some idiot replied "they can't use the DD in low sec any more", clearly not having read my post so I was reiterating it for them.
