Well, if you really want that, there is a simple "fix". Allow ppl to jump clone in intervals of half an hour, or an hour. Ok, maybe two hours, to avoid ppl clone jumping to escape death outside the camped station or the next camped gate, but in any case reduce the time interval by a lot. I know a few occasional pvpers who don't want to jump in a clone they are gona use to pvp for a couple of hours, but then they have to live with that clone for at least a day. And after they jump back in their "implant" clone, they can't pvp for another day. Make jump clones work more like the way ship switcing works... You leave your current ship, jump into another, go have a fight, come back use another more suitable for the occasion ship, repeat, etc etc. I know many will not like this idea much, because they might think that enemies will have an easy way out, but afterall ppl who don't want to fight just stay docked for hours, or just log. No big change there actually. On the other hand, this change might encourage many ppl to pvp much more often. Some of you may know, some may not, i am not a 0.0 or low-sec fan (the opposite is true), but i always support free choise. Just an idea...

Bad idea. There is supposed to be a drawback to having implants. Either you risk them in PVP (like I do) and then you use jump clones only when switching the implant set or for fast-travel (and then 24h is fine) or you don't use implants in PVP and you have the trade-off that you have to plan when you're gonna PVP.
Otherwise CCP could just as well make implants permanent or something.
It's risk VS reward - risk your implants in PVP but train fast or train slow and have a risk-free pod. CCP already gave you the tools to adjust how much you want to risk (e.g. use +3 implants instead of +5s) so I really don't see a problem.
And also consider this: is it sooooo terrible if you don't have any implants in your head for a few days? It's not like you'll be using a huge amount of SP... and if you think you are then be less of a ***** and fly with impants.

Yeah, this basically. +5s are a privilege, not a right. If some people are foolish enough to avoid actually playing the game they paid for in order to get an extra 99 SP/hr then there's not much we can do to help them.

Personaly, i have no jump clones that are without implants and hardwirings. I have been podded 5-6 times, no problem, i can replace them in seconds. My jump clones just serve different tasks, and are equal more or less... But to some ppl, even buying a new set of standard +4 implants means some days of hard "work" to be done. It has nothing to do with beeing smart or dump, it's only a matter of time to loose implants.
True it is risk vs reward. You risk your implants to support your ship when you fly in a clone with implants, or you risk your ship to preserv your implants when you fly in a clone without implants. In anycase you risk something and you get "rewarded" accordingly. The only thing here is "choise" without hars time limitations.
Besides, i think this was the idea for introducing jump clones. The ability to choose what to fly with, and what to die with.
Anyway, most of the implants are so cheap nowdays, that you are propably right, it won't make any difference. On the other hand, don't expect people who "care" about their implants to write and support their "love" for them openly, because flames will surround them from every corner...
How did i do with the wall this time?

Except the reason why he is #6 on battleclinic is because he goes around in a slaved, bait fitted iteron mark V and gets battleships to suicide on him and it often looks like he solo'd them in a hauler (because battleclinic.com doesn't take NPCs like CONCORD into account). ---

Don't confuse 0.0 and lowsec. They're completely different worlds.
There's no way in hell I'm moving back to 0.0, but lowsec is a blast.
