have run kapersky vunerability + antivirus scans and adware scans most of the night with up to date signatures. also jacked up my security sliders
the only thing found was an potential vunerabilty with a program called safari (its a browser bundled with itunes) which i dont use and a java client vunerabilty which gets a hit on just about every computer i have ever owned.

Kaspersky is not a very good antivirus program, It likes to detect everything prety much as a virus or similar.... some of the free ones like comodo and avast are allot better

seems im now getting abuse from multiple players regarding the transfer
seems they are gonna report me unless i transfer the character to them  ...
some geezer named thesaint2000 got all hvy about it

The general rule of all of tech support is, that the errors sits 30cm before the screen. 
Also the people who are most vulnerable to hacks and phishing are those who believe that there computers are perfectly safe. I also firmly believe that no private owner computer protected by commercial or freeware anti-virus Software can withstand professional attempts at hacking for long.

Well what do you think? If someone bruteforces your account name and password how many attemps can he do in a minute?
Also doesn't eve prevent you from log in anyway after 10 failed login attemps?

if i knew the answer to that i prolly wouldnt have lost the account.
im kinda hoping someone from ccp picks it up soon or at least lets me know its being looked into then i could let the people who are harrasing me in game about the transfer know its in ccp,s hands.
they are saying im gonna lose the account to them ne how wanna start a book on the outcome 
thing that dont add up is if i hacked into to someones account the first thing id do is change the password so the original owner couldnt get in ???
guess the hacker wasnt so smart after all.

its time like these you start to realise your playing too much eve lol.
Im getting to know how many pixels are on the wall of this station ive been hijacked too 
still logging in the hope someone has looked at this and i can start using the character again... .

2) wait
3) wait more
4) [well start up a trail account while your waiting]
5) follow the info in the ccp communication's

funny you should mention correct petition place ive got one in lost accounts/passwords and one in exploits not sure if they are the right place ?
its not that clear going thru the petition system and it wont let me raise another

I'm not sure TBH,
but make sure you have a good email address attached to the account, I would of thought that should be good enough,
just block anyone asking about character transfer [change your bio to reflect this?]
as I cannot see any Character bizzarr transfers posts from you so those will have to be bogus]
I don't really know much about hacked accounts

Pretty much every player that I know that got hacked has either bought or sold (transferred) characters / mods / ships via some out of game auction website.
Do not know of anyone that has been hacked that was never active on the forums looking to snag a bargain.
Certainly not intending to twist the knife you have in your bellies if this is your situation, just trying to shed some light on this business for those of us mystified as to how this is happening. Not saying this is the only way, but certainly appears to be part of the puzzle. I.e taking part of such activities exposes you as a potential target with lots of isk.
Just hope you don't get too upset about it. CCP will not restore your lost modules/ ships, only isk transfers. So keep your expectations nice an low so you aren't dissapointed.

cheers for the info tbh i,ll be happy if the above scenario occurs so long as ccp confirms the character is still mine, isk can be remade but it took over a year for me to get these skills.
