Create new Astronautic Rig

Feature (+1) to warp core strength Same drawbacks as a regular Stab
Create new Electronics Superority Rig - Warp Core Augumentor Feature (+1) to warp jammer /disrupter Drawbacks ??
This will give a pilot a chance 2 escape a losing fight without gimping setp

Fastest way to get pvp:
1) Fit a Mining Ship 2) Go to a lowsec belt
For added profit:
3) take bets how long you survive

I wonder how people is still asking for more pvp... Simpliest way os to fit a pvp ship, go to nullsec and start fighting... Or even more simple, join a nullsec alliance. Lots of pvp granted,

Correction: it will be a lame "get out of jail free card", remove the risk from solo PvP, and encourage blobbing with overwhelming odds just to be sure you have enough points on the target.
If you want to improve PvP, delete all ships with a WCS fitted (as punishment for being so lame) and then remove WCS from the game entirely. ----------- FREE ABATHUR - HAVING GOOD 0.0 IDEAS IS NOT A CRIME.

Kick the can. Kick all the cans. When you see a can kick it. Kick them where you are seen. Brag about tipping cans. Tell everyone that you steal. Go right up to the other players can......open it Then talk lots of smack................. Use phrases like "I dare you to get your friends in on this" or "I'm gonna go get my Titan"
I'd also like to talk a group of players into fleeting up to attack concord.... then bail on them during the fight.........and looting thier wrecks.
Then brag about it in local and dare them to wardeck me......
Too far?
Whats the topic here?

Maybe one could add an emergency warp core stabilizer - an active module with say 10-20s cycle time, that gives you a 10-30% chance to eliminate each point that is on you (so with say 2 warp scramblers on you, that is 4pts and a vanishingly small chance to get them countered). The Warp Core Projector wouldn't be that great with the same penalties as WCS - they'd gimp your setup quite a bit and rightfully so.
I agree we could have some rigs that give bonues to tackling - eg. the OP's suggestion could make sense if there was something that it needs to counter.
Still, the best way to get PvP action is just to hop into a t1 frig or cruiser, insure it 100% and go pick up fights. Some new pilots do it and are having a blast, and it's not like the loss when you blow up is too significant. Boosting WCS options would just mean fewer killmails and less fun in PvP.

Really?
I play a game called Eve Online... you should try it.
This idea won't save anyone, it will only increase blobbing. I hate it when people try to kill solo PVP. Go back to WOW dude.

Confirming that an arena system would work much much better. But then all the neutral RR-*****s would emorage. Owate...why is that a bad thing?

Edited by: Shivan''Dragon on 27/12/2009 18:08:49 I agree, however most solo pvp in this game is not really an honorable way of fighting anyways. Most 0.0 solo pvp is cloaked hac's, going after ratting ships, industrials and miners which are not fitted for pvp. So technically thats not fair in a gentlemens duel sense, although much better than blobbing with 50 ships in a bubble.

If a pilot gets into a losing situation, he deserves to lose his ship. We have all done it, we have all gone "oh...wish i hadn't done that" Giving an easy way out will increase the number of engagements but decrease the number of kills. Next thing you know we will be hitting each others ships with bits of cotton wool in case we make a dent.

On a second thought, this is what experienced PvPers do - they just don't get scrambled, or they know they have another way out, so if the battle looks bad they use the warp/jump/dock button - before it is too late, of course (it's what experience is all about). You can fly conservatively and do your homework, and you get what the OP may have really wanted. Try fast ships, try long range setups, etc - these will give you the extra edge to get out of a tough spot.

... is by joining RVB.
Stabs are for industrial ships in hostile territory. They dont belong anywhere else.
On another note, call it history lesson if you will: There was a time when stabs didn't have penalties. Go figure.
