A few additions to the site: Time spent and ISK Per Minute calculated per scam, with all relevant logs and screenshots listed under the Full Scam Details page.
Soon to come: Total ISK scammed / Total time spent scamming page. ISK giveaway page with explanation / raffle instructions. List of ISK winners Commenting on scam posts.
Any other thoughts or suggestions are very much welcomed!

Just another update: Changed the scam details page around a bit, seems to flow a lot better now.
Also added comment posting for each of the scams.
I'm working on getting a few more pages in, then I will be focusing more on the scam posts themselves.
I should have something pretty big around the corner to really kick the site off.
Be sure to check back soon!

That's discounting all the scammers that don't own up and write a public site about their financial exploits in the EVE universe.
Frankly, this guys is about as non-dodgy as they come, since most scammers will deny being scammers to begin with :D
(which is not to say that anyone who denies it is a scammer, before we start the witch hunt)
Fly well and have fun, Grismar.

A new scam is up.
Just a quick demonstration of using in-station trading to trick people into buying things way above their actual value.

Hey guys,
Bumping this one to the top.
Had a good scamming day yesterday which was over 1 billion ISK gained.
Working on some long-term stuff that will hopefully be going up soon.
I have a lot of ideas, so stay tuned!

Can we lock this for cross posting already? I'm pretty sure the several weeks of Jita spam, MD post, and however many other sections its posted in are enough.

This is the only active EVE-Scam thread. It's been linked a few times in MD, but it was topical.
Plus, it wasn't my choice for it to be in this forum. Mod asked for it to be here.
Thanks for the free bump though! Glad you like the site!

For those of you unwilling to visit the site - OP basically conned a player rolling in isk out of 500m ISK. Basically the old boring "if you give me money, I'll invest it and make you back money - CAN'T FAIL!" scam. Better yet, this thread has made this alt useless against most people with real money (googleing partners is always interesting).
Your ability to convince someone to give you only 500m isk is neither new, impressive, or particularly post-worthy. Setting up your own website so you can post names/convos is narcissistic at best - and over such a paltry sum is a bit pathetic.
Come back when you've done something more interesting.
if 500m is worth its own website I ought to have a few servers dedicated to me

I been reading the market discussion forums lately and been a laugh reading the "Riethe's Public Apology" thread, didn't really understand if the thread was there to try and gain peoples trust back or if it was just to get a list of folks posting who you had previously scammed to rage. ------

It's actually 100% safe. There's not one bit of javascript on the entire page, or any links to anything other internally to the site...
Umm you think you cant get a virus without java script turned on?
****ing rofl.
Want me to send you a link to some viri that only need you to click the url w/o java?
I think that would violate the TOS somehow so i wont do it but seriously, grow up. -------------------------------------------------- I'm so Old I can remember when QQ was TT

The most popular exploits floating around these days are ones that hit Adobe Flash Player and Adobe Acrobat Reader, among others. These are particularly effective as they work no matter what browser you're using. This is also why I run around with NoScript and FlashBlock on all the time now, removed Acrobat and installed the FoxIt Reader (which is a hell of a lot faster, too). Still not foolproof, but it helps.
Anyways, there's nothing up on eve-scam.com other than some plain HTML and CSS. There's some really enjoyable stuff up there and it is educational as well.

It is obviously a seeded thread created as part of some future scam where someone calls him out for being a scammer so he can link to that thread and say, "see, I have changded mah ways!"

That's right. A new bump!
EVE-Scam has had some changes.
I've added a blog (yes, a blog on a blog!) so I can track updates and changes on the site. It also gives me a chance to get input on ideas I have or other site related things.
I've gotten rid of the "ISK per minute" stuff. It's neat to see in some cases, but it's just not going to work for some of the juicier content I have coming.
So if you haven't seen the site yet-- give it a gander!
There's really fun stuff coming soon. Besides more scam posts, a lot of ideas will be showing up.
Check it out!

Crap compared to what? The usual 4-5 people circle-jerking on C&P?
This is one of the few threads worth reading on here. The more standard "scams" are a little mundane, but I respect the effort to provide a survey of all that's out there. The conning of the moron wannabe scammers is hilarious.
I am looking forward to the promised content, and I hope it's not just hot air.
Hopefully this incites some rage bumps.
