I am writting a piece of fiction that requires a tourist visit around places in eden empires. So far I have an ice belt, Amarr Capital city of Dam-Torsad and of course the twin homeworlds of the Caldari and Gallente. I also have a visit to a minmatar farming world.
But I want more, so is there anyother type of location which you can think of which would worthy of a visit
(PS this is before the Empyrean age)
With thanks Hug a Carebear, Kill a pirate, squish a Rat, and tickle a dev.

Thx Aloriana, Like the idea of a meteor storm and the space walk idea is perfect as the character hates space. Not sure about Concord HQ as guessing they wouldnt like visitors Hug a Carebear, Kill a pirate, squish a Rat, and tickle a dev.

I know I can dig up a few places in a couple days, I'll get back to you with specifics, but I'm remembering some floaty lights or something at some gate that are supposed to be a tourist attraction, to start with.

In response to Garion, is the Paralles Incident what you're thinking of?
I've always wondered what could be done with a setting in Nouvelle Rouvenor (Gallentean underwater city), personally.
Also, perhaps places such as Syndicate stations? (A hint of the law but still null security space all the way).
I'm not sure if you could consider a ship graveyard a tourist attraction but, if you can, there are some in Yulai, Kor-Azor Prime and Algogille (may be more, I haven't searched much and they may be post-Empyrean Age I'm afraid).
As regards sites in space, there are places like the City of God (in lower Domain) and a huge fortress (the Traumark Installation) built by the Tash-Murkon family on the southern edge of Amarr space (it was later abandoned and taken over by pirates). There are also natural occurances such as Serpents Coil, the Pool of Radiance, a black hole near Minmatar space (sorry but i forget its name), Cord of the Elements, Trace Cosmos, Vapor Sea and the Cauldron. (Probably worth looking at some of these ingame on the map for info on what they are).
If you're really stuck, it might be worth taking a look at the chronicles for a few ideas too.

The Federal scrapyards are pre-EA, but the Kor-Azor etc. battle sites are EA stuff.
Planetary sites: - The Crystal Boulevard in Caille District, Gallente Prime. A thick layer of artificial diamond protecting the Gallente High Command from nearly any direct fire that doesn't dislodge any tectonic plates. As a secondary function, it has a shopping centre built on top of the diamond armour belt. -> Alternative: Some other Gallente city. - Dam-Torsad (Imperial Capital) was mentioned. -> Alternative: Capitals of a Heir (such as the Sarum capital next door in Mekioth, Sarum Prime) - First Landing, Matias, New Caldari - Places on Caldari Prime: Kaalakiota Peaks, Arcurio (capital?), Tovil, Nouvelle Rouvenor (underwater city - access may be restricted as Caldari are using some underwater cities as prisons) - Villore. Federal Senate. - Intaki V (Intaki Prime, tropical home of the Intaki - lowsec warning) - Mannar - home of the Mannar (Fed founding members) - Jin Mei home planet in Lirsautton system. China Town with an old caste system still in force. - Mishi IV, Ni-Kunni home planet. Desert, "Arabian Nights". Need to go thru lowsec to get there. - Places in Amarr Prime: Amarr island/continent (houses Dam-Torsad), Udor continent, Khanid. - Starkmanir Prime (Arzad VIII). Bombarded well beyond the stone age by the Ardishapur fleets (talk about broken tectonic plates), the planet is these days protected by edicts from Idonis Ardishapur (predecessor of the current Ardishapur heir). (See the Outcast chronicle.) Lowsec warning. Post-EA it may be occupied by Minmatar, as it is in the FW area, but prior to that, just "regular" lowsec. - Saisio III (Achura). Expect to need permits from Sukuuvestaa megacorp as well as local Achura authorities to land. "Zen monastery."

We're actually going to be adding to this list for Tyrannis. More details will be coming soon, but it's pretty much what you'd expect (I hope!): updating of outdated content, adding more general landmarks consistently (some regions have none, others have more than twenty, for example) as well as adding more new places to visit and explore.
Also, I think Garion is referring to lights around the stargate of Iyen-Oursta, otherwise known as the "Iyen Pixies".

If i can recommend one thing, most if not all celestial beacons that designate the above locations have a short "description" that pops-up the moment you warp to them. However this message is not viewable in any other way. Please check if there is an option to add them as a "readable" show-info text somewhere.

For objects in space, check the ingame map (F10) labels. Also, search for COSMOS missions, which have scripted deadspace locations (fixed deadspaces in many cases instead of "dynamically generated" mission deadspaces). For example, Lord Bastion etc. are in Araz constellation in Kador.
And yes, Malkalen disaster and the Yulai CONCORD HQ wreck (as well as the Caldari Titan appearance) happened for the Empyrean Age, so those wouldn't be of help in the fiction.

One thing I am wondering is Villore Planet 3. I remember that pre-dominion it was a Lava-Planet and after dominion it is a Gas Giant.
In one of the earlier chapters of EA the planet is described as undergoing terraforming, which might fit a lava planet, but certainly not a gas giant.

I wish we could see it. The chronicle says there is an actual structure there that has been studied somewhat so as to you could see the letters "EVE" printed on it. But there's only a wormhole there, albeit a huge, not like the wormholes we can find via probing womrhole, but anyway... I would like to see the actual structure that is mentioned in Prime Fiction. On that note, I've also understood that Sisters of EVE are conducting experiments and surveying the area, I can only wonder why there isn't a station there, run by Sisters of Eve. I suppose it's to keep gankers of unsuspecting explorers/sight-seers out of the system so that they can't bunker themselves there...
But seeing how important this whole area is for EVE's history one would hope there would be unique models for wreckage and other interesting stuff lying around. Like the ancient broken stargates, used by humans of eons past. Have they all been cleaned up by the empires? Or the acceleration gates, an unfinished prototype of the solarsystem acceleration gate the Minmatar were working on before the Amarr came. And things that are mentioned in the in-game lore but actually can't be seen, for example the EVE gate can't be seen from the neighbouring systems. Or the supermassive black hole at the edge of the Minmatar space.. Well okay how can you see a black hole, I'll give you that. Well, maybe by the absence of stars at the supposed direction of the hole or something. There's so many things to see here, in this game. Wish there would be some unique flavor to these places as well... Maybe it's a bit much to ask of course for stuff that most people wouldn't care about since you don't get ISK by gawking at the EVE Gate for example. But still, I would like to see that actual gate some day.
Well, here's to hoping some of this stuff might be fixed or added or worked on in Tyrannis!

A small comment, since many planets were adjusted, and new landmark beacons were added, it would be wise to revisit this list and other locations around New Eden.
It is time to take the journey of sightseeing again.

This.
Might also add stuff in the wormholes as being worth seeing, as they certainly are.

there's the most extreme frontier systems of known space -
QVZM-W in Branch, the northernmost system RT64-C in Outer Passage, the easternmost system LX5K-W in Paragon Soul, the southernmost system and LBGI-2 in Fountain, the westernmost.
I've visited all four of them. makes for hazardous tourism, but it felt like something of an accomplishment. especially because this was back in the day when the stars showed up in the in-game sky. Seeing all the other stars in New Eden clustered in one half of the sky was pretty darn cool -
