I was just wondering what other people think is the hardest PvE content in game. Not factoring in PvP risk due to location. Is the hardest the same as best or most fun?

There's the infamous complex "The Maze", though I'd assume that there is harder stuff now in wormhole space...

I'd say high class WHs, though I haven't done any. I have done C4s and they can be quite tough.
Nothing else in PvE really comes close TBH. Predictable, very easy to mitigate risk in most PvE activities.
But, yeah. These forums seriously need some indicator that the post has ended and the sig has started.

If you don't use any guides it's either 10/10 plexes or sites in category 6 wormholes.
With guides/practice both types can be farmed as always.

"The infamous complex The Maze" is pretty tough if you are used to level 4 missions, but well planned certainly doable with two or three people.
Though the plex is very irritating because you have to find the right way into the plex to reach the last room, and drops not-so-good-loot.
But it is always nice to have done it a few times so you can say "been there, done that, and all i got was the lousy 23rd overseer effects".
Highest should be WH 5 or 6 sites, and warping in a few caps for an extra PVE thrill. ___________________________________

Big difference between C5 and C6.
Off the top of my head, I'd submit Forgotten Core Assy Hall (C6 Mag). With two caps on site that should make the initial spawn, umm, 21 bs iirc (if the caps cause 14 Guardian bs), a few cruisers (rr) and some frigs. Dps, I really dunno, probably 'round 10k or even above, with combined alpha somewhere in the 50-80k range.
Good thing those buggers don't have any ew to speak of.
If that's not enough shoot the trigger(s) first
Payout is decent, though it depends a little on what the cans yield, if you get a Talocan and your luck with the loot table. Otoh, more dependable then when you're hoping for Occifer gear or x-type stuff of course.
EDIT: at Higgs sig, gotta love ducttape.

Class 6 Magnetometrics and Radars is pretty much the toughest PvE in the game.

Waiting for AWU 5 so you can fly a shiny Golem.

AWU to 5 was so I could fit that third large shield extender on a Drake. When it came time to train for Marauders I was just like "Oh look I qualify already. Cool."
I digress.
The hardest PVE I've encountered in high sec would honestly have to be in Deltole. Not that the damage output is great or anything, just dealing with the second serp pocket knowing that you can't tank all of it, the respawns are fast, you have to travel a LOT to get to the hacking cans, and any support you'll get is random at best. But that's solo-ing the complex.
