Currently our WH ops are limited to C3 WH's. We have two Tengus, a Legion, a Loki, and an alt in a Vulture. The lowest tank is somewhere around 600. How much damage do we need to tank in a C4? We'll be doing anomalies plus Mag/Radar sites. As far as a C5 goes, I'm assuming we'd have to move onto remote rep battleships. Can anyone offer some suggestions as to what works for them in a C5? ---------------- A million faces, each a million lies |

Edited by: Mealtrom on 31/12/2009 20:44:23 You need a squad of dedicated remote rep logi cruisers or a fierce and well disciplined spider gang for C5. Radar sites in those things will ruin your **** before you know what hit you, so be sure to have good buffers too. For damage output I've heard anywhere between 1200-2000 depending on what you are running and how badly you screw up chaining/capital aggro. The only thing I can tell you for absolute sure is this:
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO INDIVIDUALLY TANK A C5 WORMHOLE.

Believe me, I would never attempt a C5 alone, but thanks for the other info.
Any info anyone can give me on C4's as well? ---------------- A million faces, each a million lies |

did C5 some months ago.
fleet was: 2x ecm/cruise scorp (armor plated), 2x domi, 1x apoc, 1x guardian, 1x oneiros. all pilots with decent to maxed skills. full spider (all RR, all energy trans).
it was fun and i had some thrilling moments when some spawns almost killed my scorp although the whole gang was repping me.
sleeper will aggro jammers as soon as you loose jam. they also run away when you jam them. they often ran out of range.
also the RR sleepers are often the trigger.
here is a screenshot of a normal spawn

I've done C5 sites with several different setups: - 6 BS (ravens mostly), each with 2 cap-sustained large shield transporters and maxed out resists. Set a minimum average resist each ship must meet, otherwise a weak link will kill the whole fleet. - 4 BS, 2 basilisks. Each BS had 1 cap-sustained large shield transporter, maxed out resists, and damage mods. The basilisks each had 4 reps and swapped energy. - A mix of BS and tengus/lokis, basically fitted the same as the first setup. - Carrier, basilisk, and an assortment of RR BS. At the end of a radar site, we left 1 cruiser alive to test out our carrier. As our carrier warped in, 6 sleeper BS spawned as we expected. But due to reaction time and such, we just couldn't keep up with the alpha strike damage. Ships went into armor quickly and all but the carrier were destroyed. We only tried this once.
In a C4 site, expect upwards of 2000 dps from sleepers. From a C5 site, expect upwards of 3000.

You can run class 5 sites with 3 tengus and a fleet booster.

You could use 2 guardians/basis for a c4, if ur worried about discos, stick some repon a legion or two. 3 ganglinks n rails on the vulture, and drones, and shield buffered damage ships. tengus/lokis work well.
For C5s, you will have trouble doing mags n rads without 7 people. Any less and your rep/damage is too low. A high resist buffer tank setup and dedicated logistics works best :) |
