This is a big part of the problem(there are way to many banned accounts lately for this system to be believable), the Customer support team is answering late, in these cases, and to get anything other than pre-written answers by a Ccp troll you need to escalate.

or maybe it has to do with privacy.

Where is Applebabe?
She should be doing the sweep, not Navigator.

Believe me, if there truely was a larger problem these forums woul either be a lot more vocal or not at all . It's a few select cases and CCP will deal with them as they usually do. ------------------------------------- The system issues man. |

Was not referring to the "don't talk about this on the forums". I'm referring to caned and slow customer support responses on these types of issues. If your stuck in jita you get help in a matter of minutes. Your account is banned you get help within weeks, or in some cases months.

They seem to have offset shifts. Better coverage that way. - - - Aloriana Jacques - Skill Sheet

So why is the thread titled "We will not discuss bad things on the forums" if that's not what it's about? ùùù ôIf you're not willing to fight for what you have in ≡v≡à you don't deserve it, and you will lose it.ö ù Karath Piki |

I think CCP do need to keep in touch with the community a bit more, they only seem to reply to threads if someone says something positive about them, but they're nowhere to be seen when someone has a (valid) complaint or problem, unless it's a thread lock...
When something major happens such as your account is banned for reasons unknown to you, you want a quick response from support, you want to feel reassured that they're doing something about it, I can imagine how frustrating it is if something like that happens to you and you get no response at all for days/weeks.

There's no real reason for such delays, if it's genuinely taking so long to process peoples petitions then CCP should hire more staff to handle it.
This!....but with all the millions CCP make a month you think they could afford to get a dedicated decent customer support team together..but as always i dont think CCP gives a damn about its community and thats me being honest..

Signed..Ugluuk have now waited 41 hours without a reply on either the petition or mail.. And he dont even know exactly what crime he is banned for..Just a general paste that he could have sold isk, items, advertised isk sale ingame or out of game..
Should have thought CCP could do better than this..I bet they dont even give discount on the next payment even tho holding his account for days. These petitions should be TOP priority for CCP together with stuck issues..In other words, things that makes you unable to play Eve..

Well, there are many idiots in EVE, and many of them have posted on these very forums claiming their innocence, only to have their cheating revealed in fully by CCP when the cheaters revoked their privacy. I can remember at least two cases, but I cant find the threads atm. They very hillarious to tell the truth.
So yes, I can fully understand why theres such as thing as privacy. CCP tries to protect these idiots against themselves.
Regarding CCP being hacked. That is VERY unlikely. And if they had, well, first they would have known within a very short time. Two: no personal information is accessible and passwords are deeply hidden in internal systems. And if CCPs systems are like many other systems you cant even view the passwords from these systems either. Just replace the old pw with a new one. And to do that you usually have to use your old password or have it reset by a senior game master.
I am leaning toward that the hackers have been very active lately among the community, as they where earlier. But this time maybe a little more sneaky than posting Wii Sex threads...
