Malaki Xhing	Posted - 2010.01.07 01:55:00 - [1] So I was thinking.. how feasible is it to uber tank a hulk to survive a gank attempt? Shield extender rigs, the whole nine yards. Any gankers out there worried about not having enough DPS at hand? I think it would be much fun to ruin a gankers day.

And here is the key question: Do you think surviving one suicide attempt won't draw more towards you? Ultimately, is it worth sweating bullets over it or just relax and go somewhere else and do something else?

Also hull tank your hulk it works the best. Bulkheads with officer mods in the mids and sensor boosters so you can get on the killmails.

Make sure you overheat when someone locks you up and tries to gank you. Also have a salvage boat near by to harvest the enemy wrecks. Another bit of fun is to have an alt in a cheap cheap ship ready to warp to the belt and pod the pirate once they've lost their ship.

That would let you use the Ore strip miners and named mining upgrades as well for the best of all possible worlds. I recommend mining in Osmon with such a setup, it's a .7 and considering how quickly CONCORD shows up you'll have nothing to worry about. And in summary, bigger blobs are the answer. Now what was the question?

It seems like whenever I try and record an epic fight (and remember to start recording) I get called primary.... What happened to my AF boost?

When you see a Hulk not mining you click the (i) button on your screen to look at the graphics on his ship and you count the strip miners. They look like little blue domes.
