I swear I posted the link the xp version. Doh, I'll update the op in the morning.
I do hope that's in wallpaper form rather than screensaver Screensaver is cool and all but animated desktop would be pretty much epic on my XP rig.. no idea if that's possible though. I'm hoping to god it is...Still have to wait a bit before i can build a win7 rig. ___________

Checking in to state that the XP Dreamscene works like a charm! Well as far as it can work like a charm on this work pc..it's vastly inferior to any current day standards so can't even run the mwv without it locking up every 2 seconds.
Only 2 gripes i have with the program are that doubleclick on any empty (yes, even within an icon..a mm in open background space is enough) area is sufficient to start it as a screensaver and rightclick will only enable you to select properties of the wallpaper video rather than to direct you to the original window of wallpaper and desktop properties.

awww your post disappointed me : it started off sounding great!
anyways there is another option, you could download vlc player and use the wallpaper option? let us know how that works out for you if you get a chance to try it. : )
Can't make heads or tails of vlc...The help file says you need to turn off overlay in Xp but all the video options are still greyed out after that...not even a video showing up or anything...Guess i'll just run it in Screensaver mode then...it runs just fine when using it as screensaver but as background wallpaper it hogs resources unfotunatly. ___________
