Plex is kind of a reward to old palyers, since only rich can afford them , it's kind of EVE's reward to you for spending all your money and life into them anyways. K Thx Bai

Marines are not kept angry so they fight. They are taught focused agression so that they may kill before being killed themselves.
Marines are forever in a combat ready state of mind, body, and lifestyle.
Marines are supplied with the best tactical weapons on the modern battlefield, their brains.
Killing is the order of the day, Marines are determined and deliver death with precision whether it is with a sniper's bullet, a few dozen rounds of a M-16, a combat knife, or a squeezing of life from his very hands.
Don not ever, in your lifetime again, compare the finest killing machine on this planet that belongs to the greatest empire on earth to date, with a fictional pixel-generated internet spaceship game.

First, the U.S. is not the greatest Empire on Earth to date, it isn't even an Empire. That honor goes to the Roman Empire, which conquered most of Europe, northern Africa, and a reasonable amount of Asia/Saudi Arabia. It lasted over 500 years, over a thousand if you count the Republic period before Caesar took control. Second, the Roman Legions were far better as killing machines. For evidence, see Carthage: at the end of the Third Punic War the Roman Legions, consisting of 40,000 men, managed to invade and conquer a city of over 120,000 people, with at least 90,000 defenders. They proceeded to enslave, slaughter, or drive out the entire population of the city, then destroyed the walls, harbor, and all of the buildings. The only U.S. Force to accomplish such an act is the U.S. Air Force, with the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Third, the phrase is "Semper Fidelis." "Always steadfast/faithful." If brains were truly the Marines' greatest asset they wouldn't have to abbreviate it all the time, now would they?

I think people are right saying the marines are always kept unhappy so they're always happy to kill. All we have to do is remember fort Hood where the great american military system has showed how the soldiers are always ready to kill without thinking too much. Of course he killed a lot less people than a kid with no training at all, but it's probably because he was not in THE BEST EMPIRE IN THE WORLD.
Also, you're in the intelligence /o\?

Even if you and I think it is wrong you really should look into the invasion of Iraq and what it entailed.
Please pay special attention to a couple things.
1. The amount of men and material moved half way around the world.
2. Since this is Eve you should pay close attention to the K/D ratio.
3. The proximity of the fight, and how far away it was for the Americans. You couldnt be on turf that is considered more "away".
4. The population of Iraq, versus the American forces.
5. The sheer movement speed of the American armed forces.
I know that since you probably have a burning hatred for America that this wold be hard, but all Roman campaigns pale in comparison to this. The Romans were the **** back their day and have my full respect as a military force, but technology aside noone has done what America did in '03. Second would be D-day.

I would say no, mostly because if I actually got mad at CCP my accounts would be canceled and I would look for something to do that does not make me angry. Life is to short to be mad at computer games. In my humble opinion if it wasn't for the interaction with my friends in Invicta, Atheist Syndicate, and Cry Havoc :brofist: I would of quit this game years ago. In the end if this game is not a pleasurable experience for you you are either playing the game in a poor way for your desires in the game or you need to quit completely. On the other hand if you need to be angry to actually enjoy things I guess you need to push onwards with what you are doing. |

But the Rangers ? Seriously ? They recieve the same level of 'advanced training' that our basic 0311 / Infantry do. Not impressed.

I got to work with those guys too. Great bunch of guys, awesome mission. No moto, no Sgt Majors yelling about beanies, no drooling mouthbreathers or fat dudes. I was so impressed when I got back to the states I was thinking of switching over to Army for it.
Then I found out I needed to sign a very long contract to make that happen, and just went on with my life as is. Glad I made that choice, because civilian life is awesome.
How were the Air Force guys hilarious? Like, good sense of humor funny or dropping rifles funny?

Don't kid yourself mate.
1. The Romans made it a third the way around the world, with both men and materials, and they had to freakin' walk. Unlike modern times, where it's half a day spent on a plane. Or a few weeks on a ship to get gear there.
3. Rubbish. The world is a lot smaller now - information can be back in the USA within seconds, and troops and equipment can be moved around the world within days (or weeks), if need be.
As opposed to campaigning months, or in some cases close to a entire year away from home.
4. You're trying to tell us that three quarters of the entire country is up in arms against ya? Assuming you're actually referring to Pope SAI's post, and not just veering off on a mad tangent.
5. See point one.
Sure, America is the baddest thing around at the moment. And your patriotism is all well and good, to a point. But you're making a fool of yourself if you actually believe what you are spouting.
