Every gamer worth his salt should watch this

not even a mention of rob hubbard
meh
no offence but his music for c64 sounded better than everything in that video. Nothing about it was funny or interesting or entertaining.

The Americans seem to have quite a different gaming history to us Europeans. For instance, you seem to be lacking in the following
Vic 20, spectrum, SAM, amstrad, amiga, atari, bbc acorn and Archimedes and who could forget the potent GX4000?
Were/are the US more console friendly, or were the above formats just not deemed that interesting in the history of gaming?

Actually, I grew up with the Vic 20 myself, here in the US. I was very young at the time, though. I seem to remember that instead of putting a game cartridge in, you could plug in a RAM cartridge instead.
The author of that video is probably going off of his own gaming history. Hence missing so many of those extra game consoles.
As for the 82-92 comment, this was only Part 1. I don't know if he's going to be doing Part 2 or not, but if/when he does, that will probably cover the next two generations.
Then again, gauging from the reactions here, the general public does not really have any interest in a montage of music describing the history of video games. Meh - I liked it at least. I was quite surprised how much you guys disliked it. Guess I just don't know what other people like these days. ---------- There is always a choice. bull****.
Remixes made in 2010 are NOT history.
I think people would very much want a montage of music describing the history of games that is no done form the point of a view of a 17 year old.

Did I say that it was the history? No. I believe the words I said were "describing the history". Whether you like it or not, music
I realize that music is a touchy subject to some people, but as I said before, I didn't realize that so many people would dislike it so much and react so negatively. I presumed that there would be a fair number of people who would feel a fond nostalgia from it. I apologize for that. ---------- There is always a choice. Even though they're not originals. Found a link to more (C64) music, how about this one, or this and this is probably the best of them all.
