It's kinda hard to fit one. I got a fit that needs a 3% CPU implant, but I hate CPU implants and like to avoid them if possible.

Drop the DCU II for a Meta 4 and you should be able to avoid the CPU implant. I usually keep a +3% plugged in all the time anyway, so not sure an issue.

Hmmmm.... also from memory, and common observations: - DC II -> IFFA - EANM II -> ANP II/Coreli C-Type ANP - T1 MWD - 2x empty highs -> Unstable Neuts/D425 ACs - Maybe Arbalest Sieges (unless you really need Rage/Javs)
You're right though - the phoon is a biatch to fit.

Trying also not to make it expensive. Pseudoelectron is nearly as good as IFFA and much cheaper. That's probably what I will do.

Is the Coreli expensive compared to an EANM II?

Empty because I have no more CPU.

T2 is way cheaper for the same base damage mod, plus T2 specialist skill adds a bit more.
I usually have a LG Omega of some kind in slot 6 to complete the set, which is why I hate CPU implants. I'd need a separate clone to fly this Phoon.

How about dropping the Cap Injector? Looks like the only thing it's running is your remote rep and that should be able to go for a couple of minutes without any help.

It does. I've considered that, too. It'd leave room for a second RR, or a Neut. -- He said "The President is near."

WRT the MWD, a T1 MWD is much cheaper than T2 MWD. Also, it seems that the Arby siege launchers aren't that much more expensive than T2... and truly, do you think a Phoon with 2 empty highs and utilizing spec 4 is better than one with a full set of highs? ;-)
Quote: Is the Coreli expensive compared to an EANM II?
Yeah, compared to T2. IIRC, they run 10-20M.
Quote: Empty because I have no more CPU.
Yet you're using 72 CPU on EANMs...

Use a medium cap booster and neuts in the high's and Fitting arbalest gives you more fitting , managing to put better modules.

Well that might be the key then. I thought Arbalest sieges were expensive, like 10-15 mil each, but I must have been thinking of Arbalest cruise. I can fit all kinds of stuff into the leftover highs if I use Arbalest siege, even while keeping the T2 buffer mods and Large cap booster.

CPU ends up 747/750, little over than 1k grid spare. Remove a plate and fit a named disruptor instead of t2 and you can use a second dmg mod, depends on preference.

This fits without any implants does 1200 dps and 1350 with OH - It also has a respectable 112 k EHP before implants or gang bonuses. And if you can't afford the ctypes (about 10-15mil) then just put in anp iis.
The phoon is one of my favorite gank bs it hits just as hard as a mega but you can choose your damage

If only there was some way to get more CPU, perhaps it there was a module you could fit which would directly increase the CPU of your ship, they could call it a co-processor or something like that and they could make it more effective than the implants because it takes up a slot...
Oh, wait a moment...
Co-Processors
Fitting modules aren't just for new players, ignoring the possibility when you have two useful highslots going to waste is just idiotic. |

Which takes a low slot. Which means DPS or tank or both decrease a lot more than the other options, like fitting ANP II instead of EANM II.

If you wish to refit a Pg implant and duel another phoon solo, exchange Siege for cruise and add either three 800's or Heavy T1 neutraliser theres plenty of dps but such good damage with low sig, a mwd also.
