*Majesta and WI: What the hell is going on?*

Caleb Fury Amarr Did I just do that Tactical Narcotics Team	Posted - 2010.01.21 23:22:00 - [1] I've been away from the game for a while and have come back to find that WI and Majesta are losing space. Now this is all fine and well, but it turns out WI is losing stuffz due to Morsus wanting moons? I know there is some unspoken rule that, because I'm in the NC, I am not to be critical of the NC happenings, but if this alliance lost stuff over moons, it makes me wonder what the hell I'm logging in to fight for. If I were getting relocated to Pure Blind, I would have to seriously pause and ask myself why. Also, I wonder how long before Majesta gets a clue. Then again, I am wondering where my clue is atm. I will go ahead and don my flame suit for all of my fellow NC'ers who are gonna light up intel now and call me a spy. I'm not one for flinging poo, its just that I find it frightening that entire blue alliances can be fell and sacrificed over something like moons. I WOULD NOT be consoled just having to get up and move. WI seemed like pretty chill guys. I would just like to know what exactly happened.

This has all happened before and will happen again. ME, MH, Rage and tnt along with others; its time to stop letting yourself be used. Remove yourselves from this war. Talk to a diplomat from one of the southern alliances who can help you leave the north and find a new home in the south if you desire. The NC no longer stands for what it used to be. It is now all about greed and moon goo. The North will burn. There is no reason you should pay for the sins of Razor and MM. No matter what you decide i wish you good luck and would like to take a moment to say good fight to WI. They deserved better and should not have been sold out and left for dead. I hope you all realize like C02 and The Initiative did and choose the right path. Good luck and please seriously think about what i said today. I cried at the first paragraph Seriously though, I agree with this. Smaller, less elite alliances (read pets) like TNT, WI and ME tend to attract a lot of people who are new to the game, pvp, or even just 0.0. They tend to not be so jaded and genuinely just want to get as much fun out of the game as possible. I enjoy playing with people who are good at the game and being a part of massive ~~fleet~~ lag battles that change and influence eve, but I'd be lying if I didn't say I wasn't a bit nostalgic for the times I spent in smaller alliances. Too bad the nc had to institute that "**** everybody but rzr, mm and tcf" policy. Entertaining though.

Yes, Nostradamus, I came to 00 apart of TnT, because I wanted to experience 00 life and understand a new part of the game. Someone mentioned loyalty and I have more of a loyalty to my corp than anything else. I have been with these guys for most my Eve time and we have all had a blast. My issue however is that, because of what I know the situation to be, a lot of us newer players are very bummed out and morale up in Deklein isn't the highest. We rat or mission all day to afford a cool new ship, then realize that the best proposition is really to bring a COMPLETE T1 fit geddon to a CTA because there is little reason to convince many to give their best. Spaceholding is cool and all that, however, I am really motivated by just the prospect of fighting. I don't care about IHUBS or whatever else is supposed to make 00 special, I come for the idea that perhaps I am fighting for something more. Then I take stock of my surroundings and begin to ponder if my will to fight is being used an an instrument to pad someone else's pocket with moon-goo. It is my honest noob conviction that TCF, MM, RzR> Everyone Else. I don't know if its supposed to be that way, and I am inclined to think that its because we don't have huge cap fleets or something. The fact still stands however: I am genuinely afraid. I am a newer player and I could lose everything over a Tech moon. Why should fly something expensive again. I also had no idea that TnT has had this happen to them before. So I guess it really isn't anything new. So unfair that we let ourselves get trampled all over... Something needs to give. PS- I'm prolly gonna get asked to leave my alliance now. This is how I honestly feel tho.

It still stands however that it makes for a very strange circumstance to feel as if we could be sent to slaughter over a damn moon.

I know nothing of the character of anyone in Morsus Mihi, so I would never make such a comment about anyone. If said chatlogs are indeed true, then I see that the elitist attitude is shared by more than just elements in TCF. I was informed today that I was banned from posting on the forums. I found it strange if only for the simple fact that: 1.) Last I checked, I paid 15 bux per month that I earned (I don't carebear enough for PLEX) 2.) I'm an adult and I take care of me. I would hate to feel as if I am adversely affecting anyones play time in TnT. I sign in only to have fun. Already I have had to sign outta my main because of the intense flames I've gotten thus far. I see why people scam and ninja-salvage now and I think it has mostly to do with the amount of baseless rage that gets showered towards them. There are few things more amazing than hearing a grown-ass man on TS rage about his internet politics. So I got the answer I was looking for and and I would like to extend a thank you to all of the people who were so helpful in TnT and all of the awesome fights had. Also a thank you to Boppi and a few others who were willing to be honest with a newer character and not give me the spin. I had my first real taste of 00 and I have some very mixed feelings now. I will dropping roles and taking a break for a while to reassess the next step in the game for me. No I'm not leaving Eve, and no you can't have my stuffz. I wish everyone in TnT, WI, and Majesta the very best luck. Eve is a game, and always play for the most fun that can be had and always keep in mind that the idea is that YOU are supposed to make a difference. Hint: the Northern Nerds are being invaded by some Southern Nerds & Former Northern Nerds, so you have to fight for your space, along with your allies, some might failcascade in the process, blah blah. "What difference does it make to be in ROIR. Thats where Tri is anyway so we can't rat or take the moons" Only alliance leadership from TCF, Morsus, and Razor really care about the fight. If you want to ponder why half the people in select small alliances in the North are all doing anomolies during CTA's perhaps you should ask yourself why. Allies chose to fight in Europe, in essence, sacrificing the greater Pacific Rim to the Japanese until victory in Europe, then came back to retake the lost ground in the Pacific.
