The recent incident of a corp on-lining a SBU in there own sov claimed system.
You know about this and have since it was reported as an issue on the testing on Singularity, and you didn't say anything then.
Now it is done in game - and will be used by all sides to create an advantage - but this smacks of an exploit to me - so .....
Could a representative of CCP who has the AUTHORITY to make a statement on the forums (either to this thread or by another official means), please clear up this situation and tell us where you stand on this.

Yes, people at CCP have nothing better to do than read forums and answer useless threads.
Just let them do it until it is deemed exploit (and hopefully fixed) and stop whining.

I'm a little behind the times. What exactly does anchoring a SBU in ones own sov claimed system accomplish? What is the exploit? ___________________________________ "In the land of predators, the lion does not fear the jackal." -Dexter |

the illogical nature of holding sov and attempting to disrupt sov summons the cosmic hippo to destroy anything that makes sense in the area. make sure to wear a teapot on your head or do something silly to avoid the hippos wrath. many invading alliances have been caught with their pants up when invading. 0.0 alliances fighting that makes way too much sense HIPPO ATTACK!

Tbh, it would be better for everyone if CCP actually started keeping a comprehensive list of exploits. Yes, the answer can probably be had through a petition, but then he wouldn't be allowed to share it since we can't post those answers… And then we'd only be left with his saying "CCP says" with no way of proving it and with nothing actually being cleared up.
He'd get an answer, but it wouldn't serve anyone any better than if I just dreamed up one here and now. ùùù ôIf you're not willing to fight for what you have in ≡v≡à you don't deserve it, and you will lose it.ö ù Karath Piki |

even if it is a exploit, theres no stopping a alt corp/alliance dropping sbu's into the system so ccp said theres not much they can do about it because theres always a way around it.

In my opinion, a Sovereignty Blocking Unit (SBU) being used as a tool to instead keep sovereignty (ie, opposite of its intended effect) qualifies as an exploit. But I do admit my opinion doesn't count for much on these forums :P.

I know, and everything you said there is the unfortunate truth.
